The quality is great... 3/16/2010

I bought my last 7 suits by Alan David. The quality is great, the tailoring is incredible and being a really overweight person , I need to look better than I normally look. Everyone asks me who makes my suits. I then open the jacket and proudly show them the my personal name sewen in to every jacket and Allan David name inside. I have had suits made at Saks, Barny's and Nordstrum and they don't come close. more

Great tailors for men and women 3/4/2010

It was my 25th wedding anniversary and I wanted to do something different so I decided to get my wife a custom suit at Alan David. Well, they really know how to suck up. My wife loved it-She actuallt let me give my opinion on which swatches I liked. Alan must have poured over a thousand fabrics before she finally decided on one. Then, a very nice woman measured her. 2 weeks later we were back for our fitting and boy, she looked gorgeous. Funny how we think custom suits are only for men but the right fit on a woman can really make a difference. Alan David was so helpful with everything, made a very special anniversary and wanted to share my amazing experience. Of course my wife picked one of the most expensive fabrics (almost 2 thousand) but she looked awesome and she knew it. Alan David makes great fitting suits for not only men but women also. Go get some. more

excellent service! shirts and suits are top of the line. Items ordered always arrive in a reasonable time, usually never longer than 3 weeks. Staff is very friendly and appointments are made at clients convenience. Fittings are professionally done and there are always an abundance of swatches to choose from. Prices are very reasonable and always cheaper than other custom shops. I would not order a custom suit or shirt from anywhere else! more

I am impressed! 9/8/2009

Recently I put on a few kilos and have a problem getting through my formals. So, for the first time I tried something like custom shirts and trousers and I was quite impressed with the fittings. Now I always go for this store and have simply left buying ready-mades. Thanks Alan David! more
