My first experience with Al Kurtz Catering was preparing for my mother's funeral services. Usually up north, a funeral evokes two major questions for those that were unable to attend: (1) How did he/she look? and (2) What did they serve for the luncheon following the services? My mother would have been interested not only in the preparation of the funeral, but what was served. My sister-in-law suggested Al Kurtz Catering. Since, I was not aware of caterers other than the church women or family serving a potluck buffet, I was glad for the suggestion since the funeral directors could handle the details with the caterers and that would be one less item for the family during a time of sad emotions and so many other decisions to be made. The only item we, as a family, had to decide upon was the possible number of people who would be attending. It was a cold February day, overcast, and the internment site presented problems being at the top of a hill in the cemetary since the rutted roads were iced over. What lifted our spirits was the wonderful luncheon supplied by Al Kurtz, it had a lot of wonderful comfort food, which not only fed our hunger, but assuaged our souls.
For all your catering needs, I would recommend strongly Al Kurtz--the only regret that we had was that we know Mama would have loved the luncheon!
