For Kelsey Meier 8/15/2011

this person works for 6 flags and was part of a group that got free passes that did not include a tip. we also got free passes to 6 flags in exchange. this was a deal made by management and it has soured, and so this is the review they want to write out in public. If I wrote the truth about this situation, it would certainly raise flags, no pun intended. more

Rudest Staff Ever! 8/8/2011

Food: The appetizers were the best part, which isn't saying much. Tomato bisque was also pretty good. The rest was disappointing. I felt sick after eating the Mahi Mahi. Paying: We had gift certificates for $62 each. We went on a Saturday night, so we had no problem paying the extra $2.50 per person since Saturday shows are $64.50. However, when we went to pay the tab, they charged us an extra $20 for no reason. When my friend went back to ask for clarification as to why we were paying $20 more than everyone else, the lady at the cash register said, "Those gift certificates didn't cost you nothing so you have to pay $20." Obviously, they were trying to swindle us cause my friend barely put up a fight and the lady gave him back $20 and said, "Now the waiters aren't getting paid for you two. You shouldn't ever go out again and F*** Off!" I couldn't believe that someone in a place of business would say something so obscene to a customer! Even though we had the gift certificates, we still spent $30 at the bar, so it's not like we were there for nothing. And her excuse of the waiters not getting paid for us was BS cause tax and tip was included in the price. So after going back to the table to get our stuff and share this horrible customer service story with others at the table, the MEAN bartender comes up to us and says, "Just so you know, the waiters aren't getting paid for you guys...I don't know why you don't understand this." As she was saying this, she put her hands on me and my friend - not roughly, but in a manner that was clearly inappropriate since she was obviously heated. And then she just walked off while my friend was trying to calmly explain his perspective of the situation! If we had not had the gift certificates, there is no way we would ever pay that price for crappy food and mediocre acting. FIND SOMETHING BETTER FOR THAT PRICE! more

Uber fun, Get into it! 3/18/2009

This was one really fun experience for me! If you go with the right attitude and don't worry about feeling silly, this is the right place to go. The food may not be 5 Star but it was better then cooking a meal, and cleaning. It was uber fun for us. We are going again, just looking for coupons to cut the cost a bit. more

So many better things to do in Atlanta 4/10/2006

Agatha's Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre is okay to go to once just so you can say you've been. Definitely go with a large party. That makes it a lot more fun. The whole idea of the place is that you eat a sub par meal while being entertained with a murder mystery play. As mentioned, the food isn't very good and is served one course at a time. The play is usually pretty cute but not very suspenseful. It is more comedic, actually. They do get the audience involved so let them know if there is someone special in your party. I can't rate Agatha's higher than just OK. more

Over Hyped 12/29/2005

I've been to Agatha's twice. Once with family and once for an office Christmas party. I thought the first time was bad, but the second time was even more grueling. It is a very slow, long, drawn out evening. The food isn't all that great and it's drug out over a 2 hour (or more) period with one course being served what seems like every hour. Before the end of the night I have both times found myself wondering when this was going to end already. more

Agathas is fun, but the food isn't great and I think it's overpriced. more
