After Hours (formerly known as Mitchell's Formalwear) rents and sells the widest selection of formalwear designer labels in the industry. Its staff of serious, well-studied attendants are able to ease any man, from the gawky prom-bound teen to the grousing father of the bride, into a perfect fit. The brown-beige walls and lamplight lend the feel of a gentleman's study, but design elements are kept to a minimum allowing the assemblage of tux-clad torsos to take center stage.
The Goods
After Hours offers men's formalwear for purchase or rental for proms, weddings and other special events. It carries all styles of tuxedos--from classic to fashion-forward and ultra-formal--by top designers like Claiborne, Ralph Lauren, Perry Ellis and FUBU. After Hours is the only formalwear company in the country to offer the new Tommy Hilfiger collection of tuxedos for rent. Also available are formal shirts, vests, ties, cummerbunds, jewelry and shoes.
