My parents decided to move to live close to me as my wife and I have just had a beautiful daughter. My father is a dedicated hoarder and he refused to leave all his collectibles. I contacted many movers but most of them quoted ridiculously. Then I came across Affordable Transfer Co which listened to me very attentively and quoted a price that seemed very reasonable. My father is now a happy chap being able to enjoy all his personal stuffs carefully transported to his new house two blocks away from mine. more

We relocate quite often and we have hired many moving companies in the past. None of them could match the skills and strength of the movers from Affordable Transfer Co. It was quite easy getting a quote from them. I only had to fill out a form online. They gave me slot at 2:00 PM. The four movers showed up at 1:56 pm. I was impressed with their punctuality. We have never had movers arriving on time in the past. From there on, everything went very smoothly. The movers were very creative while packing our valuables. Even the furniture was wrapped in shrinking tape. Everything was safely delivered from our old house. We will only hire these guys from now on. more

Affordable Moving Systems moved all our heavy household furniture about about 2 miles down the road when we moved to another house. They were all very professional about taking care of everything from the packing of everything to being conservative about the time it took. They did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable. The office was very courteous and prompt too and also the movers were very excellent. more

I can only thank Affordable transfer co for the great moving service and price. Recently we have moved to Dallas, TX from all the way from Miami, FL and Affordable transfer co was our moving partner. We choose this company out of many options because of their onsite estimate which was very precise and most reasonable. The sales rep helped us a lot understanding the whole process and also scheduled our move exactly when we wanted. Their 4 men team arrived on time for the packing and loading. They completed the packing and loading in record time and made sure all the valuables survive the long transition. This was my first time using Affordable Moving Systems. A couple of things were missing. A couple of things were scratched and broken. They never called me back when I called them about it. I have a $3000 desk. The knob was left inside the drawer. The screw was missing. The handle on the $5000 bedroom set was missing. I had to pay $15 to Ashley Furniture to get a new one. There's a chunk of wood out of the front of the desk because the desk is hand carved. One of the drawers has wood chunked out. There's a couple of scratches where the wood is off the bed set. I also do remember they gave me attitude when they had to bring the furniture to the upstairs bedrooms. There was a mattress, a crib, dresser hunch, two pieces in another bedroom, and a headboard. They were huffing and puffing that I had to make them go up. They acted like it was a job, when that is the point of hiring a moving company. Moreover, the price was jacked up after they brought the stuff. They wanted the money before they started unloading. The waited 45 minutes in my garage for it. I was quoted one price by Steve, I think $4500, can't remember exactly, and the new price was hundreds more. They wouldn't take anything off the truck until the extra money was paid which is wrong. I would definitely not recommend them. All of this happened and I only moved twenty five minutes away; it was one straight road on the 75. more

Affordable Transfer Co handled our move very professionally. They gave us a very reasonable quote which they stuck to in the end. The movers were great. They packed up all our belongings in no time and then loaded everything onto the van. They were quite literally in and out of our house on the moving day. They delivered everything on time and I was glad to see that none of our things suffered any damages. The movers even helped us unpack and assemble the furniture. These guys turned out to be very professional. They showed excellent skills at packing my valuables and loading them onto their vans. I think it helps to have that extra man because then the crew becomes a lot more time efficient. Most other companies send only 3 men crews. Anyways, the movers were very capable for this job. They were equipped with all the packing materials. They securely packed all my belongings within a matter of 2 hours. They carried big pieces of furniture with such ease. The delivery was made on time and the final bill was very close the original estimate which was excellent. I heard a lot about Affordable moving systems from several sources. So, I decided to try this company during my last move which took about a week ago. It was not a huge task but the movers had to deal with some heavy and fragile furniture and they had to use the stair ways. So, I was quite worried. However nothing went wrong. Everything remains safe and spotless until they reached the destination. Movers worked their heart out, they were very careful yet fast and applied their skills and experience and made sure that there was no damage or delay. This company has been in the business for long enough to develop resources and services that new companies don’t have. They quoted me a fair price and sent over 4 very capable men. I have had some terrible experiences with my previous movers. This time I hired Affordable moving systems for my move. Frankly, I would have been happy if they simply delivered all my stuffs in one piece. But they really went the extra mile. They quoted very reasonably. The men who arrived on time were very skilled and efficient. They packed all my stuffs correctly and loaded them to the vans. When the vans left I was just hoping I get to see all my valuables again. The vans arrived right on scheduled date. I checked the inventory list and everything was delivered correctly. All my furniture was undamaged and only glass had broken during the journey. They ruined a couple of pieces of my furniture. I didn't realize this until we got to the house to unpack, and by then it was too late to do anything about it. I don't feel the price I paid was fair, especially when considering they ruined some of my furniture. more

These guys were lightning fast for the packing and loading, and proved that they are way better than any other movers.
