We are a family that loves dogs. Many of our family members and friends suffer from allergies or prefer low shedding pets and therefore have to choose from a limited number of hypoallergenic dog breeds. Searching for the perfect pet to accommodate those needs we noticed how expensive it can be for the average person to acquire and care for a "designer dog". Why couldn't these breeds be available for people without thousands of extra dollars to spend on a pet budget? Our mission is to help dog lovers find the pet they really want without the ridiculous designer price tag.
Affordable Designer Dogs is a small family dedicated to breeding quality Labradoodles and Goldendoodles with sweet and loving personalities. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and loved and socialized just like our own children from day one.
From the moment they are born until they find a new home, our puppies are being handled, played with and treated with special care and attention every single day. The vast majority of the time someone is home with them making sure the pups are getting the best care possible. (This is why we do not deliver.)
Georgia, an F1 Labradoodle, expecting puppies around August 14th. They will be F1b Labradoodles. We also have Layla who is expected to come into heat this month or next and her puppies will be F1 Goldendoodles. Our yellow Lab, Sunni coming into heat the first week of August and Willow, our F1 Labradoodle will be in heat around the end of February. Pregnancies last nine weeks, give or take either way.
Many of the puppies in each of of these dogs' litters are already spoken for now so please send me a message asking to be added to the waiting list if you're interested in a puppy. If you wait until they are born you are less likely to get a puppy from that litter. People on our waiting list are contacted the day the puppies are born and there will also be pictures posted here.
I know you cannot tell much about a pup the day it is born but coming from a situation like ours, HOME-RAISED WITH LOTS OF LOVE, you're not going to go wrong. Don't forget you're welcome to come visit any time. Just let us know ahead to make sure we are home. You and your family will be imprinted into your little pup's heart from your first visit on.
Although we invite you into their lives from birth we do not let the puppies go home with you until they are eight weeks old. (A few days early is okay.) We feel this will give your puppy the best possible start in life as well as let the Momma have her time with them. It is hard for these Momma's to see their puppies go and we put all of our dogs' needs first and foremost.
