I’ve been going to Aethetica for 6 months, and I couldn’t be more pleased. “Kat” is my stylist and it is great to spend an hour with her as she styles my hair to its full potential. They all work as a team; which ensures every detail is attended to. It’s delightful. more

owner and staff very rude 2/18/2009

I called to make an appt to get haircut. Since I've never been to this salon, I wanted to ask a few questions first. The woman on phone got irritated that I wanted to do that and she put me on hold and owner, a male, named "andre" came on phone. I told him I wanted to briefly ask how many yrs experience the stylists had so that I may make a good choice of whom I'd like to cut my hair. He got very defensive and rude and told me they all had experience. I told him I wasn't implying that they didn't and that he misunderstood me. I also like to choose a stylist more in my age range (I'm a female, late 40's) - and he kept wanting to put me with a 23 yr old and I said well like I just said, I prefer a woman more in my age range. He then said, don't you think the young girl is experienced enough? Wow this guy was rude and defensive. I was just calling to make an appt and ask 2 questions and he has a cow and tells me to "go somewhere else". How does this place stay in business I wonder. Is it wrong for a new customer to ask questions these days? I've since called other salons who nicely answered these same questions and they will get my business. more

Owner of salon nasty 2/18/2009

I called to make an appointment for haircut but wanted to get some info first since never been there. I asked if they could briefly tell me the experience (such as how many yrs cutting hair) of their hair stylists so that I may make an informed choice on which one would be best fit for what I was looking for. The owner, a male named "andre" got defensive with me and told me all their stylists were experienced. I told him he misunderstood what I was asking. He got real nasty and told me to go somewhere else! Wow. Unbelievable. I've since called other salons and they've been very nice when I asked this same question. I also prefer someone near my age range too and this "andre" got really mad when I asked that also. He was very defensive the whole time. I can't imagine with their attitude how they could still be in business,esp since this guy is the owner. How rude. And they charge too much for a haircut to boot. more

Great Manicures 8/20/2005

Aesthetica Salon and Spa is a clean salon with a knowledgeable, well-trained staff. The salon uses only Aveda products and they smell great and I like that they are all natural products. The manicure also includes a small neck and upper back massage and it is very relaxing. The tools are clean and are new for each client. They offer you a drink when you get there and are very courteous and pleasant to talk to during the manicure. It is easy to make an appointment and they are reasonably priced. more
