Marissa T. Perino advocates quality of life for both patients and healthcare workers. To date, she has presented her original research on physician work and moral distress, as well as subjective payment categories, counterfactuals, medical uncertainty, and decision-making at Duke University, Drexel University College of Medicine, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Pacific Sociological Association, University of California-San Diego, the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities, and the Global School of Public Health at UCSD.
