I had to walk into the dealer through salesmen standing outside blocking the door using profanities. Glad I didn?t bring my kids. Walked in for my appointment and the salesman took my keys to get mileage then was gone for the next 15 minutes. He actually left the lot with my keys On him to go to an offsite lot to get vehicle. What?s the point of an appointment and what a bad practice of leaving dealership with customers keys. Internet price is not real price unless you qualify. Sales tried to encourage me to make the sale without my concern of putting myself in a financial dilemma. I said sorry I cant make this deal financially and then was handed my keys and given the cold shoulder. That?s how I know I made the right decision. The treatment from the start was bad and followed to the end. I do not recommend getting a vehicle from here because of the horrible treatment as well as disregard to helping you make the right decision. more

Such an easy transaction! No stress and no hassles from salesmen. I called and explained what I wanted, walked in to the dealership about an hour later with three potential cars pulled for me to look at, test drove the one I like the most and walked out about three hours later with a new car. It's nice to deal with this family owned and operated dealership. I highly recommend going there the next time you are in the mood for a new or used car. more

Never buy a car from them! 9/22/2011

I bought a new car 5 years ago and haven't stopped receiving junk mail from them yet. Then recently I received a letter from a lawyer saying I didn't pay my Cook County Use Tax on my car I bought from them 5 YEARS AGO!! After calling and speaking to MIKE ARMSTRONG I was told to give him a couple days to take care of this. A month passes and I have called and emailed Mike several times with not a single response. A packet shows up at my house with proof that I paid my Use Tax. BUT there is no explanation to what was done with this information, what I should now do with the information. Not anything explaining the packet. I called the office manager and left a message and never received a call back. So finally after I call her AGAIN she explains that they mailed the same information to the lawyer and I should call him. I just had to share because there never should have been the screw up in the first place and then I can't even get a phone call or email back to explain it to me!!! So good luck with this dealership, Folks! more

Shady Tactics, BEWARE! 7/1/2011

Appalling ""bait and switch"" tactics used by the ""internet manager"" to lure me into this place. They created a fake ""buyer"" for my car, and then tried to lowball me once I was there. The manager could not have cared less when I complained. No wonder car dealers have such a bad reputation. At least I had the good sense to walk away as fast as possible! more

Other interested buyer in a car! 6/30/2011

BUYER BEWARE!!! We went in to look at a car after driving for a 2 hours. The car was on the lift still getting fixed from trade. The car was posted for sale as soon as they take it on trade. That doesn't mean that it is ready to go see. They post right away to get you feeling like many people are interested in the car. We took it for a drive, came back and parked it in front of the building. They sat us near it. Sure enough 2 young men came up taking pictures with cell phones. They wouldn't budge off their price saying did you see the guys out there taking pictures. Must be selling it at to low of a price. We were there for 6 hours and these 2 guys were all over the sales floor, lot and in the service shop. My guess would be that they work there. Who hungs out at a dealer with no sales person asking you if you want to buy a car? Don't get messed up in this scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

My buying experience at Advantage Chevrolet was enjoyable. The sales staff of Joslynn, Michael Armstrong, Mark Ott and Jason, were wonderful to deal with. Steer Clear .... 6/2/2011

Wow ... where do I start. ?I knew from the moment I walked in the door I was stuck with an idiot. ? After taking a look at what they had in stock and going for a test drive in a 2011 Camaro .. it was time to talk money. ?After about an hour of going back and forth with all the nonsense .. they tell me the car I was looking at had already been sold! ?While I was on the phone with Geico, the salesman is asking me for a debit card. ?I refused .. not sure what that was about as there was no sale. ? I left very disappointed and would never go back. ?Stay far away ... more

I was completely satisfy with my car and Chris the salesman that took care of us, went above and beyond. He had good knowledge of the car and service department. He also came in on his day off to see me when I showed up without calling first. That shows the quality training that Advantage Chevrolet provides to their employees. Happy employee = Happy customer. First of all they are all over you like flies....even when you tell them you are just looking and will find them. They follow you like your gonna take off in the car that your looking at. You ask to test drive the car and ask questions about the vehicle he has NO clue and says over and over again we will look it up...HELLO you should know even the basics about a vehicle!! My husband was more knowledgable about the vehicles. Then they are very pushy for sales people(I know its their job) and will ask for your credit card and when you tell them your gonna think about it they don't want to give you your card back and when you ask why they want it they don't give you an explanation. When you have problems they do NOT call you back...NOT EVEN THE OWNERS!!! Even when things are in writing they don't fix them and your car comes back DIRTY with stains and different noises!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! more

Outstanding Service 2/23/2011

I just wanted to ?Thank Advantage? again for their kindness and service yesterday. My husband cannot believe he has a new 2011 Corvette. He never thought he would be able to purchase a new one. He cannot stop smiling. Everyone was wonderful; the salesman, Steve, Mark Ott and their finance man (I believe his name was also Mark). It is nice to walk into a dealership like Advantage and be treated like a person and not someone who doesn?t know anything. So many dealerships are hard core sales and really try to push you. I am happy to say that we did not find that to be true at Advantage. We will certainly pass along our good experience with Advantage to our members at Windy City as well as family and friends. \r \r TK more
