Words cannot describe how thankful we are to ARC! Before going to ARC, we had a total of four unsuccessful pregnancies and one miracle child. My OBGYN did several tests, but we never had clear answers. My husband and I were emotionally drained and were to the point of being content with the reality that we were meant to have one beautiful healthy child, and no more. But someone referred me to see ARC for at least a consultation. We decided to see them and find out what was wrong. After our initial consultation with Dr. Jutras and Mary, we realized that not only were they extremely knowledgeable, we were at ease knowing that it would be a step y step process that we were comfortable undertaking. Two years later, we are blessed to have a wonderful son and beautiful daughter. Our family is complete thanks to ARC! more

Our experience at ARC was great! We too began our journey with REACH after some testing through my OB revealed infertility issues. Both and my husband and I underwent a variety of tests with REACH but it wasn't until we visited Dr. Diamani, a wonderful urologist in Charlotte, that we had a clear picture of what our issue was and some clear solutions. He referred us to ARC and we were so grateful that he did. From the time of diagnosis to the time when we were sharing of pregnancy news it was roughly 5 months! Mary is extremely informative, so if some feel that she is talking too much then maybe they wanted less hand holding. I NEEDED that support and guidance and that is what this small, hands on practice will give you! They walk you through each step of, what could be a very scary process, and make it easy to follow. Dr. Jutras is a very, very intelligent Reproductive Endocrinologist that truly wants to help his patients have children. During the stimulation process my ovaries over stimulated and I needed extra care. Dr. Jutras came to check on me each day in the hospital to make sure I was OK and showed me images of our embryos to remind us what I was going through all of this for. Autumn was also there when I wasn't feeling well with kind words and support. I think every story is going to be a little different because this is a very challenging experience but I know that God directed me to this practice for a reason and her name is Emmerson. She is the amazing little angel that came into our lives by the grace of God and the work of Advanced Reproductive Concepts. We want more children and we will be back at ARC soon! more

I spent 2 and a half years trying to work with a large endocrinology clinic in an attempt to diagnose my ?issue? with infertility and to enable me to become pregnant. I went through every step of the process, including the daily ?cattle call?, which included sitting on the door step at 6:45 each morning so that I could be early in line to come through the office, provide blood samples, and then head to work. I took a full gamut of hormonal supplements, and came into the office about 3 times a week, where I saw a different doctor at almost every visit and felt the effects of the inconsistency and less than personable bed-side manner of doctors that I had no relationship with. At every visit, I found myself backtracking through my entire ordeal trying to help them understand what my ?symptoms? were, what treatments I had gone through already, and what might be best in that new doctor?s opinion. It was an experience I would wish on no one?and finally left it?still not pregnant. A friend of mine referred me to ARC. I went into this ?engagement? with about as much skepticism as could be imagined. I didn?t trust anything or anyone. Dr Jutras, Mary, and Autumn were truly an answered prayer. I was able to talk to them in a consistent fashion, had a direct line to speak to Mary any time that I needed to, and after a quick series of visits, Dr Jutras was able to determine my options (or lack thereof), present me with the facts, and help me make the decisions necessary to begin the IVF process. I asked more questions than I?m sure they have ever encountered, and they were ALWAYS able to provide me with an answer that made sense?even when THEY became somewhat frustrated at MY skepticism! J I owe so much to this team, and have 2 beautiful 3-year-olds that make me forever grateful. I was able to feel informed about every aspect of the process, had the facts I needed to make the critical decisions required for success, and was even humored and then humbled with respect when Dr Jutras was even able to predict the sex of my babies! J Now, not only do I have my two happy, healthy toddlers, but I have a new niece on the way, thanks to this amazing team! more

The staff of Advanced Reproductive Concepts would like our patients to know that we are dedicated to personalized and professional service. We understand how difficult facing infertility and the associated costs can be and strive to assist our patients in every way with all these issues. Thank you to all the wonderful patients who have placed their trust in us and have allowed us to assist in making their dreams of a family to come true. We love getting the pictures as your families grow and you are the ones that make this all worth while. We would like to address the comments that appear here from an educational standpoint since we know that many people are often feeling angry and disappointed when they come to us. If individuals choose to ventilate this anger publicly we feel we have a right to do our best to give accurate information about a practice to which we have dedicated our lives. Please remember there is a fine line between voicing your opinion and slander which can be very harmful. Dr. Jutras not only does an extensive first interview with you in order to establish your plan but he does a diagnostic ultrasound, all procedural ultrasounds, your retrieval and oversees or personally does the embryology here. He also does an extensive consultation prior to your embryo transfer which he also does himself. Dr. Jutras is both a Reproductive Endocrinologist and an Embryologist and sees every patient on their first visit with us, obtaining a detailed history on which to base his plan for their care. At the appropriate time he also does a diagnostic ultrasound for each patient as a part of his assessment for their fertility plan. After that has been done his plan is carried out by a nurse with extensive education and experience. In our case a masters degree in the science of nursing and a certification in Reproductive Endocrine and Infertility Nursing in addition to many years of experience as a nursing faculty, director of education for a large medical center and greater than 20 years of experience as an REI nursing. At various intervals Dr. Jutras does other procedures as dictated by patient need. He is updated on every patient visit and all changes to the patient's plan are made by him. Rest assured that he is always available. Unfortunately patients often come to us with preconceived notions and information from various sources and try as we may they appear to prefer that information to our expertise. In that case the battle is lost before we start and those patients often leave with those same misconceptions in spite of our efforts. The science we practice is by no means perfect but is backed by many years of study and we answer to many inspecting bodies which is as it should be. We expect to be held to high standards and we adhere to those standards. We would also like to assure our patients that we understand insurance benefits all too well. Our society has addressed this subject in great deal. It is often difficult for patients to understand the ins and outs of their policies and many misunderstand how their policies work. This misunderstanding often leads to anger and we understand how that can occur, but we do ask that patients not accuse us of things that are simply untrue and harmful. It is very serious to publicly defame people. We wish each and every patient well and regret that there are those that choose to make false accusations in a public arena. It would never be our intent to do that to anyone. We have assisted in creating many ""happy families"" over the years and appreciate their working with us in achieving their goals. more

Okay, you hit it on the head. If you want to get some affordable IVF well you have the right place. But the care that REACH provides vs ARC is not comparable. Unfortunately, I'm still under there care & therefore cannot tell my entire horrific story until I'm done, but believe you me, IT WAS A NIGHTMARE & enough to make you run if you want a good relationship with your medical team. I will say they are affordable and won't haggle you much about money; however, THEY aren't personable. MARY the wife, the NURSE who wants to be more TALKS NONSTOP & is very condensending...honestly lady I don't give a darn how many times you've been published. She is rude & they rarely ever do the same protocol that REACH does with checking progesterone levels regularly & blood work. As one person mentioned, they just put you on meds, God forbid, I had a bad experience with that. The bottom line: Don't expect Dr. Jutras to say anything other than what is ABSOLUTELY necessary. I believe they are committed to getting women pregnant and do care and maybe all of those checks REACH did was just to collect money, so I'm not qualified to judge. Look, what I'll say is if you don't have the money but really want to get pregnant then go to ARC talk as little as possible so hopefully Mary will say a lot less....I doubt this technique will work...unfortunately, she's so self absorbed she's unable to take feedback. Just try to save all of your questions for the doctor. If you can tolerate people who care about their work and the percentage of women they get pregnant; but do not know how to effectively show or fake that they care about you well you'll be okay. more

As any business, there will be different experiences. Please do your research and be cautious if you decide to use this practice. First of all, Advanced Reproductive Concepts used to be known as Affordable IVF. My husband and I had a horrible experience with this practice and still dealing with them since 2008. We already had 1 child (conceived naturally) and very eager for a 2nd. After a year of TTC, rather than ""giving it some more time"", we sought the help from ARC. Our intial visit, we met with Dr. Jutras. He asked my husband and I lots of questions then just left the room. His wife, Mary, then walked in and stated that we were finished and directed us to checkout. We were told that the questions that we had could be answered at the next visit. It should have been at that point that we never returned. Instead, we went through 4 months of H**L with them. Rather than doing diagnostic work-up to see if there was even a problem, I automatically started on hormones. I completed agree with previous posts in regards to very unpersonable and rude. I left in tears after each single visit with them for 4 months over how belittling Mary talked to us. They performed an IUI since I was ""super-ovulating"", however, the medication also caused my endometrial lining to become so thin that it could not implant and I SAB (so ""lets try another one""..aka ""we get more money""). We eventually sought a second opinion from another practice. We were informed that nothing was wrong with myself or my husband and the infertility was caused by all of the excessive hormones. I stopped the medication and within 3 months, I conceived naturally. My son was 6 months old...and I conceived again, naturally! I thought that my nightmare with them was over, until recently. I encourage anyone that uses this practice to watch their billing. I had insurance at the time that provided Infertility coverage so I was shocked to learn that I had such a high balance due with them. Thankfully, I kept all of my EOBs from my insurance company. If you are told that your insurance didn't cover something, look into it! I found several visits and procedures that were paid from my insurance company that they were billing me for- ""Duplicate claims"". Also, late fees for claims that they didn't even send to my insurance company until months later. This is insurance fraud! As a medical provider, I am aware of insurance coding as well and was shocked to learn of this UNETHICAL practicing. more
