This tattoo shop is top notch... from the extremely polite and helpful guy at the counter to the tattoo artist who waved "hello" from his desk to the hand shake from another who arrived for their shift while we were discussing our ideas... this is a refreshing change. There are far too many front desk creeps that make one feel as though they are committing a major faux pas by inquiring about a tattoo. All that said, this place has incredible tattoo artists--- they did an AMAZING half sleeve job on my ex husband... he went in with this triathlon theme in his head, as well as a really bad ying/yang tattoo that had to go. D`Jene (honestly when he told me what he was doing I was wary... ) did the most incredible job of coming up with a really unique spin on the design, followed by absolutely beautiful tattoo work. The colors, the shading, the line work... all gorgeous. Here`s something else that`s cool about this place... they have time set aside for walk-ins. I think that`s really cool. Sometimes you just get an urge, you know? It`s nice to know that you don`t have to go to a back alley shop to find an opening with an artist. more

This was pretty cool except at the end. I dont personally believe that the majority of people nowadays(sp?) pierce their tongues just for sexual pleasure/inhancement. For sure lots but there truly are multiple reasons people choose this. Unless of course the end was purely for comedic reasons and or sarcasm of course….;) more

I went to get my tragus piercing here yesterday now am a big baby for pain but the tragus was something i really wanted to do. I went to a place before this and the people there where horrible i was disappointed but decided to try one more place ADORN WAS THE BEST!! I went as a walk in and JESS welcomed me right in. SHE IS GREAT. She made me feel 100% comfortable and told me what to expect. We went to a room that was VERY CLEAN and everything was FRESHLY OPENED now I'm a nursing student and I watched as she did practice STERILIZATION techniques perfectly. She was great I recommend going to Jess for any piercings and if it's your first time on something she's great! SO NICE AND FUNNY!! GREAT and she's so easy to CONTACT THROUGH EMAIL!! GO HERE!! ITS THE BEST PLACE IN MANASSAS TRUST ME!!! I WENT TO NEAR BY STUDIOS AND THEY SUCKED! more

Good but expensive. I've had two piercings done here. My nose (the first one i ever got) and my lip. The work areas are very clean and i have never had any experience with rude staff. Both times i felt comfortable and the procedure was quick. My issue however, which knocks off one star, is the pricing. So I'll sum it up saying if you don't mind the price, go for it. The place is great. more

This was my first experience with a tattoo parlor at all, and I have to say it was a good one. My sister recommended Adorn after she had a pleasant experience getting a wrist tattoo here over the summer. The staff was very kind and friendly, and Aimee was particularly sweet and put me at ease between the time I sat down and the moment I got my nose pierced. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful with after-care recommendations, everything seemed clean, and I've had very minimal swelling or soreness. more

Top body piercing shop 3/18/2013

Been here twice now playing the role of supportive friend during the inking process. On both occasions, we were walk-ins, and managed to get set up within 30 minutes. The folks are professional, friendly, and the work done is stellar. This particular time, my friend was worked on by a woman, who is outstanding! She has an amazing portfolio and does really great work. Plus, she`s exceptionally personable. Very clean, very organized, and if I ever do work up the courage to get some work done, I definitely will be visiting the Adorn Body Art Portland, no question. more

My favorite tattoo shop in Portland, OR! I will never go anywhere else. I have had half of my back tattooed at life time and they`re amazing! I go to Adorn Body Art Portland.I love their style! My friend had one of his sleeves done there, and he`s also a big fan. more

Great piercing studio 3/18/2013

That guy is working on my sleeve and I wouldn`t go anywhere else. I actually work at a tattoo shop, and the artists there are great, but my arm belongs to him so my time belongs to Lifetime. If you`re a single girl, you might want to bring a friend with you if it`s after dark, simply b/c of the part of town that the shop is located in. more

I believe he meant they are mostly done for sexual practices AND as a fashion statement (but if we’re being that general we can classify all piercings in those categories!). For sure though, most of our clients seem to want the tongue piercing for the look…or at least that’s all they share with us. ;) more
