Great Store!!!! 2/21/2010

I had just moved in the area and noticed a couple of western stores in Gonzales and decided to purchase a pair of boots, the first store I walked never asked me if I needed any help, I was in there for almost fifteen minutes, when I proceeded to the door they just looked at me, well I got the picture at that point. I decided to try Adobe I wasn't sure about how they would treat me either but I took a chance and I am so glad I did. Sallie is wonderful she was so nice and friendly, I explained to her what had happened and she apologized for the THOSE people. Sallie you have got my business for a long time. I will be in there this week to purchase a new pair of boots. Thanks for your kindness. Pros: Best Boot Store in Town more

Friendly service at good prices 10/26/2009

I go in once in a blue moon to shop or to get repairs done. The staff usually remember me even from minimal contact! That's just good customer service in my opinion. They also have INCREDIBLY low prices on sale boots, and decent prices on others - plus a huge selection. The only thing I find unsatisfactory is the price on repairs - $21 for new heels seems excessive. Still, I highly recommend Adobe to anyone who asks about boots. Pros: friendly staff and good prices on boots Cons: repairs are a bit much more

Worse Customer Experience Ever! 8/13/2008

I selected Adobe to bring my $200 shoes for my wedding to be cut down. They were brought in on a Saturday to the La Place store and the store's employee Stacie called their store in Gonzales and verified they would be ready on Wednesday to fly with me to Dallas for my first dress fitting. When I arrived on Wednesday to pick them up, they were not there and I was told they were still in the Gonzales store. The employee there, after she arose from sleeping on the couch to help me, proceeded to call the Gonzales store to see if they were ready; of course they weren't. The work had not been done yet. I proceeded to ask when someone would bring them to LaPlace and was told that if I wanted them I had to go to La Place and pick them up. Since I needed them to fly with me the next day I drove to Gonzales to pick them up from Sallie, the owner, and when I walked in Sallie immediately had an attitude when she realized who I was. Undoubtedly the saleperson in LaPlace warned her I was on my way. Sallie then proceeded to tell me, after she gave me my unworked shoes, that she had just gotten them on the previous day and that she didn't need to talk to ""people like me"". What the heck does that mean? A female person, a doctor, or was it an African American? I think the latter. Needless to say that I will file a report with all bureaus, both parish presidents for both stores, as well as place reviews on all sites that allow me to do so. If you want a good customer experience, this place is not for you. Trust me, bring you money elsewhere. People like Sallie don't deserve to have your business. more
