Editorial review from Citysearch 4/26/2013

I can not belive this guy is still in business...My review is similar to the rest, First off, Kevin sold us a truck with no oil in the transfer case. The noise from the transfer case was described as ""wind noise"" by him and his team. That's not it, less than 300 miles off the lot the check engine light came on so we brought it in to a service center, along with the trasfer case not having any oil in it the truck needed new glow plugs and new injectors. Cost of repairs.....over $9,500. I should have had a mechanic look at it first. Never trust a used car salesman. Especially this one. more

Absolute worst salesman I've ever met 3/23/2012

I saw a post on craigslist about a car I was interested in. I called to make sure the car was still available and I was told it was sold that day and then noticed the car was reposted a couple days later so I called and was told that they had sold it that day. So I figured I couldn't get a straight answer from them and I decided to go check for myself. The noticed the car wasn't there but was quickly greeted by a salesman on the lot. I told him my situation and he apologized and took me for a look around the lot. I soon found a truck and jumped on it. Asking all the right questions and looking at the truck for any problems. He had a mechanic come out and look at it for me and said it was all good. I was made all these promises and told that the truck was good. About 3 days after the purchase I heard a knocking in the engine and sensors going out left right and center. I changed the oil and nothing but goops and clumps fell out and I have a coolant leak out the wazoo. I admit I got swindled but I also had the hopes for an honest salesman to help a person out in tough times. It has been 6 months since I made the purchase and now I'm dealing with a locked up engine and no way to prove that he covered this up. He looked at right in the eye and shook my hand and said I was getting a great deal because he ""unwillingly"" marked down the price for me. I admit to my mistakes as to trusting someone at a used car dealership but I've learned my lesson and I'm posting this now in hopes that no one will make my mistakes. more

classic example of a used car dealer 7/16/2009

Kevin Adams is the classic example of a used car dealer. He will lie to your face and then blame other people for his mistakes. He lied about getting the oil changed, lied about rotating the tires, and lied about getting the broken windshield replaced but got it ""repaired"" but there is still a break in the windshield. We had to replace the timing belt and water pump which cost an additional $800 after the sale. He hosed us. We were first time used car buyers and he took complete advantage. Watch how he talks and uses words that ordinary people wont be able to understand. We are disgusted by this man and the way he does business. Be careful if you buy from him. His wife is a nice lady though, probably the only good thing about the dealership. Pros: we are done with them Cons: He will continuously lie to you more
