Fun Summer Program 6/24/2011

My daughter is "out in the world" for the first time without me as she hasn't been in school yet, but it takes me 20 minutes to get her out the door at the end of the day. I wish my children's school was in AUCDA was in pick-up zone for their after school program. more

Kids Learn & Have Fun! 6/11/2008

If you are looking for both a fun and enriching activity for your child, this is the place. While acting, children learn the essential life skill of how to be at ease while being better communicators. There are several sessions, each with a different theme. Gigi, the director, has excellent credentials, training, and years of experience in theater (acting, teaching, and directing). "Acting Up" is a really fun way for kids to learn how to better express themselves. Highly recommended! more

Owner Message

  • Acting Up Creative Drama Academy offers acting classes, improv and storytelling classes for children in Helotes, TX. We help every young person achieve "Social Presence", which is the confidence to speak up in any situation through the use of Creative Drama including Theatre Games, Improvisation, Storytelling, Vocal Projection and more. Our After-School program will pick up students from area elementary schools and transport them to our facility. at Acting Up Creative Drama Academy, the children will have the opportunity to eat a snack, followed by Creative Drama Classes each day and homework time. Creative Drama Classes will also be held weekly. Children will learn stage presence, improvisation, voice and diction.
