I've been doing business with ACE Cleaners for several years now. Mostly all dry cleaning and I have to admit I have never had a problem until recently. I dropped off $120.00 worth of dry cleaning and a few pants that needed to be taken in at the waist. Of the several pants two were not done correctly. The tailoring looked really crappy. It looked like they only took in at the waist and didn't touch the back center seem of the pants which can cause that ""bunched up"" look when worn. Mind you, I'm no tailor but I know sloppy work when I see it. \r

Took them back and explained to the wife/owner and she immediately developed a bad attitude. I remained calm and cool until she told me she'll have to charge me the same rate again to have the work re-done! Can you believe it, they did sloppy work and now they want to charge me again to re-do the work?!!! I couldn't believe it. \r

She then said she'll discount a measly $2.00 to have the work re-done. I informed her that I wasn't satisfied with the job she did in the first place and reminded her how I've been a customer of theirs for several years but she didn't care. I finally said, screw it, charge me but it's the last time I'll do business here! \r

Then she changed her mind and decided to take back the so called discount she offered and charge me the full price!!! I grabbed my pants and left the place in pure disgust. \r

So long ACE Cleaners, you'll never see another dollar out of me. I must also add this, on two ocassions I've walked in there only to hear them arguing with customers about the very same thing, charging for work that was not satisfactory to the customer. I kid you not! The impression the owners of ACE Cleaners left on me is that they're money hungry people who don't care about customer service. Shame on you ACE Cleaners!
