This place is a welfare clinic... do not go here! My insurance covers Access Dental and it was somewhat close to my house so I gave it a shot. My appointment was at 3:30pm... its now 5:20 and I haven't been called yet. When I walked in there were at least 60 people. (NOT KIDDING!) waiting in chairs, half of them young children. All yelling, running around... crazy. I have never seen anything like it. And more people are constantly coming in. Now there are only about 20 people, but they close in 40 min. They also take walk-ins, which slows the appointment process down immensely! I came in for an emergency appointment (abscess tooth) and I've seen 20 or so people who were here after me go in. I explained to them an hour ago that I am in serious pain and this was supposed to be an emergency appointment. Nothing has happened. The staff at the desk are nice, but nothing is worth this experience! By the way, its in a crappy part of town and the only place to park is out on the street. No parking near the actual business.
UPDATE: When they FINALLY call me in they say my tooth needs to be pulled, but the doctor tells me it's too late in the day! They didn't call me back until 6:15 and they close at 6pm. Of course it's too late now that Ive waited over three hours! However, I had been there since 3pm (when my scheduled appointment time was 3:30). I also noticed that two other people and myself, who complained about the wait time, were the only customers left when they finally called me back. Not sure if this is a coincidence, but either way... do not go here!!
