The team at Acadia Shutters are true professionals. We recently installed shutters throughout our new home and knew it would be a major investment. I was thrilled when Acadia's quote was half that of Costco's and the product was far superior. I worked directly with Wil, who took the time to hand measure each one of the 20+ windows we have. He was also very knowledgable about local Atlanta history and historical restoration, which made working with him a pleasure. \r \r The installation team couldn't have been better. They covered our floors and furniture with padding and even wore booties on their shoes without being asked. Very respectful, conscientious and professional. One of our shutters was a very tight fit in a bathroom, which they disassembled and then reassembled on site to make sure the shutter could be installed without a problem. \r \r These guys and their product are truly amazing! more

From start to finish, we were very happy with Acadia Shutters & Blinds. Dudley came for the initial visit and showed us many samples. We were impressed by the quality and price. After making our decision to go with Acadia, which was less than 2 hours, we were immediately contacted for an installation appointment. The BEST plantation shutters. I got three quotes and Acadia was not only the least expensive but had the best quality shutters. Dudley came out to give us a quote. He was the third quote we got. He beat the quotes of the other two vendors and his quote was for real wood! Dudley was very professional and did his quote on site. Wil came to the house to take measurements...he is relatable and professional and a joy to work with. He took the time to really listen to the kind of look I wanted and addressed each window in detail. I had a quote from another business...Acadia's rate came in at the same price point and it was Wil's ability to see my vision and match it with their product with confidence that won me over. It was clear Acadia had more experience and a better product. We went with plantation style white wooden shutters and they look SO good...they blend right in with the space and further enhance our ""look"". Just got new shutters on a series of 6 two story windows. They look outstanding and our experience couldn't have been better! We originally talked to an interior decorator who suggested shutters. She quoted us a price that frankly sounded outrageous so we decided to shop around. We called Dudley at Acadia, he scheduled an appointment, brought samples with him, and then gave us a quote right on the spot. The shutters we chose had decorative frames, were real wood, and had 3.5 inch slats. The exact same quality as the interior decorator's shop but literally half the price!!! Dudley was able to match our paint perfectly and when his installation crew came out they were quick and professional. We love our new shutters and would recommend Dudley and Acadia to anyone looking for a high quality shutter. Great job!!! more

Don't put it off any longer. You know you want to replace those ugly, dusty, cheap metal blinds with plantation shutters, and you won't find a better place to get them than Acadia. Based on so many positive reviews, I called Acadia and met with Dudley within a few days. He was great to work with and we got the ball rolling immediately. The prices he quoted me with exactly on par with what I thought it would cost to do blinds & shutters throughout my house, and was certainly less than another company I'd also called. 6 weeks later, Carl came out to install the shutters, which took only 1 hour, and they look fantastic. Exceptional and professional service at a great price is the only way I can describe my experience with Acadia Shutters. \r \r After receiving bids from three top shutter companies I selected Acadia because their sales manager, Ed Hosch was so helpful, honest and ultimately provided me with the best product at the best price. He took the time to explain all the products I could choose from. He was more than happy to meet with me a second time to provide additional consulting, not hard selling which is what I experienced from other companies. \r \r Pricing from Acadia was also excellent and totally transparent. Other, companies quoted me extremely high prices and then said they would be happy to “talk with bosses or owners” on maybe giving me a better deal. Acadia was the only company that openly and clearly explained there pricing. \r \r The day when my shutters were to be installed, Acadia’s installer was every bit as professional and helpful as their sales manager. He showed up on time, was clean and well spoken, explained how long the installation process would take and what he would be doing in each room. \r \r The end product exceeded my expectations. \r \r Never before have I sent a testimonial or a review. However, I was so impressed with the service and product I received that I felt compelled to share my experience. Overall, we love our shutters; installed in 2 rooms. Installer was very friendly. We'd order more in the future. Room for improvement: Some of the frames installed in the windows were slightly larger and when forced into the window, it cracked the molding around the window. Initial estimate: Asked for pricing for each level of house (3) because we planned on doing one level at a time until we saw the finished product. Received the quote and it was a combined quote for the entire house. Fees then changed once we said we were going to start w/ one floor. Wanted to pay w/ CC, but was told the pricing was based on Acadia receiving a check and the estimate would increase if paid by cc. - again, some minor mis-communication that could be improved on. more
