Unethical Company/Painter 2/12/2023

WARNING – Do not use this company/painter. They are negligent, careless, unprofessional and disrespectful. The painters did a fair job of painting - not great. They splattered paint all over my floors and tried to remove it with sandpaper and therefore removing the finish. They damaged my dark walnut hardwood floors so badly that I had to have them recoated and buffed for a cost of $1500. The owner advised he would cover half of the cost in cash for the recoating and buffing. He never showed up with the money and I have tried numerous times via phone and text and I cannot reach him. Beware of this “scam artist”! more

Top quality job for a very reasonable price 10/4/2012

Academy Painting has painted my entire house, in stages, starting from my first nervous forays into painting ("Academy Painting , do I need to choose a white for the ceiling?") to my bolder decisions ("Yes Academy Painting , it`s really what I want. (Pause) Why, do you think it`ll look bad?") Not only does he do a top quality job for a very reasonable price, he`s patient and thoughtful in managing decorating neurosis, and his instincts are spot-on. more

I am truly impressed with both his workmanship as well as professionalism! 10/4/2012

A few weeks ago, Academy Painting came to my home to give me an estimate for interior painting. The Estimate was VERY reasonable so we scheduled for the work to be done. Academy Painting showed up with his crew right on time and they went right to work. When I came home from work, the job was completed and my home was left as clean as before they came. Academy Painting showed up within the hour to inspect the work with me and to be sure that it was done to both of our expectations. I am truly impressed with both his workmanship as well as professionalism. I would HIGHLY recommend Academy Painting . more

Academy Painting 10/4/2012

Academy Painting just finished every room in my home with bright paints, Hi Gloss molding and funky strips. They are fabulous! They showed up everyday on time, never left without cleaning up for the day and worked like true pros. We spent a week together...and we`ll miss them! The price was competitive and I`m glad we chose Academy Painting in Clifton, NJ for our project. more

Academy Painting gave me his best price up front and his team of painters were extremly proffessional. The owner is a straight-up guy. No hidden cost and high quality! more
