Abbey Road Hospice

We used this hospice for my father and they were incredible. They even made a cake for his birthday and came out to the house and celebrated with us. They gave us such peace in a time that we needed it most. more

This hospice is the worst hospice in the world. I would never recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy. Their nurses are horrible, they have no compassion or care for what they do it or how they do it. The owners themselves are so above themselves. They are arrogant hipocrits who call themselves christians but always preach about needing patients that are going to die right away within that 6 months and non medicaid insurance and to my knowledge the entire time that I worked their they did not have any medicaid patients. And the reason for getting a patient that will die quick is because they will get a bonus of about 20000 dollars if the patient dies before 6 months. This is supposed to be a christian based business but they judge so many people by their race and financial status in the community. So again I would stay as far away from this place as possible. My mother had a stroke in indiana and we brought her down to Clumbia. Abbey Road Hospice has been a god send. They have helped with the 13 different medications that my mother takes. making sure their or no interactions.\r They check on her every week, with vitals and have assisted in her therapy. They are our barometer on how well she and our household cope.\r I always help my mother put her pills in a organizer every two weeks. She takes 8 pills everyday. Two weeks ago i was out of town for the weekend and my mother called to ask for help with getting the pills in the organizer. They came out that day on a Saturday.\r your family members will be in good hands. Pros: Professionalism combined with compassion more
