Does not return calls 5/8/2011

Because of their close proximity to me and fantastic reviews, I have been trying to hire this company. I have been trying to reach them for 2 months to just set an appointment. I have left them 7 messages, They do not return calls. I can't understand the good reviews since they are completely un-responsive to new customers. If anyone can recomend a local leather repair company who is responsive I would appreciate it. Thanks more

Saved my treasured Leather Jacket 3/1/2011

I live in New Hampshire and found this company online. I?m so glad I did! Quite a few years ago my grandson gave me a very deep red leather jacket with fir around the hood that, of course, became my favorite. I?ve worn it ever since. For the last 3 or 4 years it?s been looking a little shabby, the color had faded and it was feeling ruff in some places. I called and talked to the owner, then sent my jacket to them to be refinished and restored. I have been so pleased with the result?it looks just like it did when it was new! I would recommend them to any one. more

Outstanding Results 5 STAR Results!! 1/3/2011

ANTIQUE LEATHER DESK TOP RESTORATION We have a very valuable antique leather top desk. We had been searching for years where to have the leather top repaired, refinished, etc. We wanted to keep the original leather and just couldn?t find any one we thought we could trust to do the job. The Gentleman from Triple A Leather Repair com was the most knowledgeable person we have ever spoken to. Down to earth, made perfect sense of every thing, listened to what our desires were then explained exactly what our options were and what kind of results we could expect. When Triple A Leather Repair com returned our desk the top was covered with a soft cloth. They placed it where we wanted it to set and then removed the cloth cover?my Wife actually had to catch her breath while saying??I can?t believe this is the same desk! It looks better now than the day I bought it! You are all just ?Artist?, thank you so much?! We couldn?t be happier, and yes, if you ask us it 5STARS. These guys are indeed Artist! more

Remarkable Leather Restoration 11/21/2010

The work the owner Mark Lackey performed was nothing short of a resurrection rather than just a repair. The transformation of my warn, discolored, flower painted 1960's Arne Norell Scorroco danish leather chairs was simply remarkable. He traveled from So. CA to northern CA to personnally asst. my husband and I with the new color selection. He pick up the chairs and after 2-3 weeks, they were completed. I was amazed! He personnally hand delivered them back to my home. Now, this may not be the ""normal"" service, but the time and care he took with pieces I had socked away for 20 years was priceless. It's not everyday you find someone with such an indepth knowledge about their craft. I would recommend again and again. more

BEWARE! Poor Quality leather Repair. Find a Better Shop!! 7/25/2009

I don't post reviews often... but I hope this one review can help save someone from making a similar mistake that I did. I purchased a sofa leather freshly ""dyed"" by this shop. It looks terrible after ONE year. The dye is more like a paint that is sprayed on, which means it comes off just from sitting on it. Also, it is hard, almost like a plastic feeling and does not wear in. When I contacted the shop after just a month to see if there was a warranty, I was told this is considered ""normal"" wear and tear and not covered!!! I would NEVER purchase anything leather dyed from AAA leather Repair Dot Com. I am now looking for a shop to leather dye a sofa (which I am going to being doing soon to fix this mess of a sofa) Cons: Poor quality work, NO attention to details more

10 Years later and it still looks GREAT! 7/23/2009

10 years ago now we called this company to Redeye our Drexel Heritage Sofa?s and see what we could do about our tall back, custom made, leather, dinning room chairs. They were staining some terrible and we like to entertain! The Gentleman that came out to our house was very knowledgeable and suggested what could be done to re color our sofa?s and potentially save our beautiful leather dinning room chairs. The price was very fair and the work was wonderful. 10 years, 10 YEARS!, two children, and 3 dogs and a new house later and they still look great. The job has looked and lasted just like they said it would. We have been so pleased! Several months ago we had some newer (less than 10 years old) leather furniture And decided to see if we could find this company again. There they were! The same Phone number, and I even recognized the voice and new the name of the same Gentleman that answered the phone. He was the same person that had come to my house more than 10 years ago. They came out and took a look at our ?new job?, and then did the suggested treatments to our leather. We couldn?t be more pleased. These guys are honest, knowledgeable, highly skilled craftsman that Know what they are talking about, do it, and it LAST! I was so very pleased to see them again. The same people 10 years later. They even remembered me, my wife, the dogs (now long gone) the process they had done for us, and more. We couldn?t be happier! We have and still will be recommending this Company and its work to any and every one we know that ask anything about Leather?..very, very, very satisfied. Pros: Knowable, Skilled Craftsman, Looong Lasting Results more

WARNING!!?..WE HAVE COME UNDER CYBER ATTACK?..WARNING!! 6/2/2009

We here at Southern California's Premier Leather Repair Company have come under a WEB ATTACK by an 'X' disgruntled worker that thins it is clever to write and post fictitious negative information about our Company. This person was/is not, nor has never been, one of our customers. The kind of work that is described in their fictitious 'review' is however the type of and kind of work that is done by people and companies that do not have our level of experience, craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence. We here at Leather Repair have been doing business since 1989, more than 20+ years, serving all of Southern Ca. with over 31,000 successfully completed jobs (as as many wonderfully satisfied customers) using only Original Factory Dyes and Finishes, the same Finishes and Materials that are in use by the Companies that Tan and Finish Leather. We have, however, repaired many many jobs of this nature that have been done by people/companies that do have our level of experience, craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence. If you have had this type of poor quality workmanship done to any of your fine leather goods please call us and let use our 20+ years of experience to repair the damage done by these 'pretenders'...it's a shame but we've seen a lot of this kind of work lately. Unskilled, untrained (or marginally in most cases) and unscrupulous people/companies posting and yes, unfortunately, preying on the public, emerging daily, especially on the WEB! Questions? Feel free to call at any time: we have 20+ years of experience and 31,000+ successfully completed job experiences to share. We're sure we can help you solve whatever problems you might have. Thank you. Pros: 20+ years of business-31,000 successfully completed jobs Cons: UNSCRUPULOUS people/companies POSING as PAST CUSTOMERS more

Beware - Very Poor Work and Expensive - Bad Finishes 6/2/2009

We had our sofa dyed a few months ago and it is already in wearing badly. They say they chemicialy ""dye"" the sofa, but it is more like spray paint. It scratches off as easily as finger nail polish and then you are left with worn looking sofa. The owner promised my husband the leather would stand up to normal wear... Just from sitting on the sofa now there are so many patches of missing color. The owner also said the leather would be soft to the touch and it feels like plastic. Beware and don't waste $650 like we did on the poor quality from this shop. There is nothing we can do except warn others because they will not fix it. Cons: expensive, poor work, lots of empty promises more
