AT&T Store

Just purchased an Android smart phone this morning from Chris Moran @ the Crystal Lake AT&T Store. Mr. Moran gets an A+++ for patience, and for being so knowledgeable about the phones -- he even transferred my photos from old phone to new one. Chris couldn't have been nicer. I commended Chris for these capabilities to the Store Manager, and I'd like to share his name with you, as well, for anyone who has previously had a bad experience at this location. Look for Chris - he'll do right by you! more

Can't disagree more with the other reviews. We have been AT & T customers for 8 years and this store has always provided great service. We are always greeted at the door. Some facilitators are timid, but all do their job correctly. The sales staff is knowledgable about product and plans - and especially about saving money. We love shopping here and are on our way right now to replace a phone we lost yesterday. more

I went into this store to upgrade my sons phone. I had already spoke to someone from AT&T on the phone prior to entering the store so I knew what my options were. Upon entering we were greated by a girl and we proceeded to tell her what we wanted. My son wanted an Iphone but was also looking at all the other phones to see what other options there were. The whole time the girl stood there with her arms crossed. NEVER in the whole time we were there did she once smile or make us feel like she wanted to help us. We felt like she was doing us a favor by being there. When we asked questions she answered with as few words as possible. We felt like she just wanted us gone. We never got a thankyou when we left after renewing a 2 yr contract and purchasing a $124.00 phone. If this wasnt the closest store we would have left. I would NOT ever go back there again. We have been long time AT&T users and currently have 6 cell phones with them and plans. What ever happend to being polite and good customer service?! First off I'm rating this place one star only because the system won't allow me to rate it anything less. I and my family and my Fiances family are all long term AT&T customers. My Fiance however curranty is with another provider. We decided to add her to my plan. Better for everyone. Right?? So we went into the loacl AT&T store in Crystal Lake IL. to add her to my plan but first to look at the phones available. I already have an I-Phone and she was concidering this also. But first wanted to see the others. Upon walking in we where greetedby two sales associates asking if we had any questions. We politely informed them we where just looking and would let them know if we did. We wheren't even in the store for ten minutes that we where asked by the same people an additional four times if we had any questions. We felt cornered by them. Each time they asked we said if we do we will ask. Finaly the last time they asked. We walked out of the store and we plan to take our bussiness else where. The sales people along with the sales manager on 9/26/09 wouldn't back off. This store lost bussiness due to this. It was like being lost in the woods with a pack of hungery wolfs. It sounds funny but it's VERY TRUE...\r Pros: Location Cons: Evrything else... Sales people must really need the sales. more
