Ripping people off 5/18/2012

NO STARS! This company's ""guarantee"" is worthless. I was unhappy with being charged for no work and when I spoke with the manager he said he'd check in to it for me and get back to me. I never heard from him and they still charged me for a service call when no work was performed. If you go to the other rating website (it starts with a Y and rhymes with help), you'll see many unhappy customers over the years. Better Business Bureau, here I come. more

Rescue Rooter is a great at quick response for plumbing needs 10/16/2009

I was looking for someone to come and fix my leaky pipe over the weekend. I ended up calling Rescue Rooter to do the job since they were willing to come over the same day in spite of it being Sunday. They arrived within couple of hours of me placing the call. They were quick and thorough to get the job done. They checked that everything was done correctly before leaving as well. more

Sorry but these techs work on commission. They do indeed recommend unnecessary repairs. No value with this company. Trust me! more

Good work maybe, but overpriced 9/21/2006

My original review was deleted, so I'll leave out the pricing and maybe this one will go through. My sink wasn't draining, so I called rescue rooter. The plumber showed up, ran water in the sink and after about 2 minutes gave me an estimate that seemed very high. The estimate included charges for a new p-trap, strangely enough since he hadn't even looked at mine. I had the week before and new it was fine. I told him thanks but I wanted a second opinion. I called another company and had the pipe snaked and working for less than half the price. No new p trap was needed. Pros: Easy to get appointments Cons: Overcharge, recommend unneeded items more
