just minor adjustments and its all good 10/28/2012

We moved into an apartment that already had an ADT alarm. When the technician came out to reactivate the system, he only had to make minor adjustments to the positions of certain sensors even though the system had been dormant for 5 years (the tenant before us hadn’t used it). I was really impressed that the system was still in great shape even so many years later! more

alarm system is terrible 10/26/2012

ADT home alarm is a terrible service. At one point we were comfortable with the service. One of their representatives came 2 months back to upgrade their system and then the system started having troubles. That day itself the alarm turned on without any provocation. But there was no response from them. more

done intuitively 10/13/2012

Finally I received my ADT-200A and so far the first tests were very positive. I was able to compare on my Optibeams with my K3, FT-1000D and IC-7800. In my opinion the ADT-200A plays in the same class. And the modulation reports, which I received, are all excellent and in no way inferior to the K3. It takes, however, some getting used to operating the ADT-200A in comparison to conventional machines but all buttons and keys are very clearly arranged so that navigation is easy. Handling the ADT-200A can almost be done intuitively. But only every day use will show whether the ADT-200A's quality is superior to my other transceivers. more

I had a really good experience with this company. This dealer is very professional and is very knowledgable. He took the time to go through the product and services and made sure I understand and comfortable with the purchase. He made great recommendations that saved us money. The installer was also very nice and professional. He came out to the house to install it next day. Great customer service! more

my package 10/3/2012

Most quotes I got were around the £900 mark plus the £300 or so a year for maintenance and monitoring costs. The ADT package I got was around £25/month which includes 2 service visits and full monitoring. more
