This daycare is horrible. Natalie is a home wrecker to say the least. She will hit on any man that walks through the door. I'm ashamed that my child went here and she ruined our family. Do not recommend this daycare at all. Wives beware........... more

This is a wonderful daycare center! I have 2 children enrolled in this daycare and I love it! The teachers are very sweet and they are so good with my kids. The center is very clean and my children love being there! I have recommended this daycare to many of my friends and family and they all love it too! Definately check out this center! You will be very happy with it! more

This group of wonderful people are the only choice I would have in the task of taking care of my children,the office staff are so friendly, I love how they are all like family they love each other and work so well together ,Maria is the Boss and she always on top of things she knows whats going on at all times and the other office crew are so welcoming, And all the teachers are so great! I have been reading the comments and I am honestly surprised at all of the negative statements. I have had 2 children go to WJCC and they both loved it. If I hadn't moved they would still be going there. Both of my kids, 7yr and 4yr, always brought home art projects and other crafts, even when they were just over the age of one. I have never had a problem with the staff seeming rude or uncaring, perhaps a bit dishevled at times, but honestly who can blame them after being beaten up by 23 three year old children for 8 hours with the back up of only one person, I for one commend these ladies for doing their job and doing it well as I could never fill their shoes. My 7yr old son still to this day speaks of the three year old teacher and how much he misses being in her class. She was always very nice to my child and from what I saw all of the other children, half the times when picking up my kids they wouldn't even want to leave with me they wanted to go home with her. And while it hurt my feelings a bit, I think it speaks wonders of the quality of care and the love my kids recieved while attending the center. I would highly recommend ths center and also urge you all to take into account that people with something negative to say are 80% more likely to say it than people with something good to say. so take the comments with a grain of salt Pros: great staff, fun environment, good facility Cons: parking(kindof limited) more

i love my child's daycare!! It took me forever to find a daycare l thought was good enough for my child and l couldn't be happier.The staff are so loving and have the children's best interest first and foremost.My child is always bringing home art projects. l pop in at different times and l am never disappointed !! I've been using this day care facility for 4 years. Over the past 2 years the facility, services and staff have declined in quality drastically. I have a 4 and 7 year old that have been attending WJCC for the last 3 years and we love the programs and the attentiveness of the staff. Anytime that my children have been hurt we have been called to inform us of the incedent and have signed an incedent report. When my children have been sick they always contact myself, husband or if we can not be contacted they call one of our emergency contacts. I have been to many daycare/learning centers and this one by far surpasses the rest. My chidren always bring home worksheets that they have been working on and and like to brag about all that they have learned. I would highly reccomend this facility. I cannot believe that the Department of Health has not closed down this center. I utilized their services for a very short period of time less than a year ago? just long enough to find the child care that my child deserves. From the first day I walked in the door and met the staffs, who was all huddled around the reception area, I knew this was not an acceptable location to leave kids. The staff was rude, unprofessional and seemed put off that I showed up ? they didn?t even pretend to be interested doing their job. Day after day I saw kids wandering the halls with bowls of cereal and hanging out in the kitchen area ? neither of which seem sanitary in the least. My 2 year old teacher is the best. She always has a clean, orderly class with happy children. My child says her name and wants to see her and is excited to go to school. The teacher always greets her and gives her a hug. All the kids lover her. She does great preschool projects and teaches spanish and english, reads. They only get tv twice a week for an hour. She teaches them potty training and was successful. They drink from a cup, not a sippy and are successful. I have to say the teacher makes a center good. They have a policy to always keep the kids clean and hair in place. Parents I've talked to said the same. I watched an older class the other day where one of the older boys literally flew accross the table to start a fight and the teacher had to hold him down by the arms - and she had the class in order within 60 seconds and the kids calmed down, including the instigator, and a call into the office for assistance in a non panicked tone, and didn't even need me to help. I was impressed. This center spends the money to send the teachers to extra classes unlike other centers. They also have the largest space per child anywhere in the city, for extra room to play and run around. (About 4 times larger than any other day care rooms in the city). Separated outside play centers for each class, and inside play center area for rainy days. Day care by nature will spread germs no matter how careful they are. They do tell you to take home all dirty clothes daily, and nap blankets weekly. They put fresh sheets on the pads daily. They vacuum daily, which is better than some care centers I've seen. Because they pay more for the teachers- we get better care here. Pros: Investment in teacher ongoing training, Space, Clean, Price, Constant video monitoring of all classes, modern space Cons: Double door but not keypad locked more

I have only been there a month and can't wait for the notice to end, they require months notice to squeeze money out of you they don't deserve and I cannot afford to pay them while my kids attend a different school or else I would. The infant class seems to be the only qualified care givers there and even then it is iffy. They lost track of my older child twice when I went to pick him up they didnt know where he was. Talk about being scared that you leave you child in their hands and they lose him. My younger child has been sick every week like clock work since I have been going. Every Thursday and Friday have to take off from something he caught from there. My older is afraid to go to school now since he used to go to a nice one in VA but we moved and started this one on recommendation. Boy was that a mistake. The are not clean at all. The put napping blanket in a big pile with all germs festering on them and don't tell you to take them home once a week to clean like normal centers do. The don't give enough drinks to children even when they have been playing hard. My older son always looks dehydrated when I get him home in the evenings. I have accident reports almost everyday to sign for my older child, like they aren't watching him until he comes crying to him with a bruise. My younger comes home with marks and I ask the center what happened and they can't tell me. There so called security they have there is typing in a number on a computer to check child in and out. They allow children to walk the halls without supervision and the front office is so into themselves they don't notice who goes in and out. I hate this place and warn parents never to send their children there. I have never had such a bad experience as this place gives me. Too many children and not enough proper supervision. They have 14 yr olds (or look a minimum of) watching children when not enough teachers are on hand in the afternoon. You pay hard earned money and get fear in return. I gave this child care center a POOR review. If I could have given it a zero I would. My son has only been there 1 month. I have many concerns. I have a 5 year old. I only met the teacher 1 time. Children watched TV or Played outside. Never brought papers home to show what was done during the day. no communication between school and parents if there were issues. My child stated on several occasions that there was not enough lunch for everyone so people had to share or go without. The last straw was I came home from work and my son showed me his back and there was a pretty severe rug burn on his shoulder (I took pictures and have filed complaints). the teacher had dragged him across the floor. nothing was said to my husband or myself and no incident report was filed. I called the center and told them what happened. they have yet to get back to me. Would NOT recommend taking your child there.. student ratio 40/1 Pros: It was close to home, modern facility Cons: teacher/parent communication. more

I have had 3 kids in this day care and all 3 of them hated it because all they did was watch tv. They do not have any structured activities for the kids. They never came home with projects they had done. When they were confronted they told me yes they do have them watch tv alot. Also a neighbor had taken her daughter there to walk in one day and find them all on the floor with there noses down for being to loud. I would not take my kids there if you do approach with caution. more

I had my infant going to West Jordan Child Center. The morning crew was great always makes you feel comfortable dropping off your baby very personable. Baby was always happy and seemed to learn new things. baby did get sick a lot from other babies. Only complaint is they didn't change the diaper as often as the report said they did i didnt know why they would lie about such a stupid thing it made me wonder what else they were hiding. I would bring baby home change babies diaper and it would be full you could tell it hadn't been changed for a while but the report would say they had changed the diaper with in the hour. I should have known since they would only go through a pack of diaper every 2 months or so. There was a time I dropped baby off and they had wrote down she was changed twice I had different diapers at home then the ones at daycare and she still had the kind of diaper on that I have at home not the ones I had at daycare thats what was the red flag. But I have to say that was my only complaint. it is clean and my baby was always happy even when I was leaving. Pros: clean and happy Cons: diaper problem and sometimes not enough staff more
