A1-American Shuttle

If you want to stay alive, stay away from this company. The shuttle was late, then the driver drive like crazy, cross the red traffic light, changing lane without signal. The reception service was horrible. When I call to verify when the shuttle will be arrived, he just hang up the phone, when I call again, he yell at me :PLEASE WAIT!. It was already late for 30 minutes, and still ask me to wait! more

Stay away.HOrrible service!!!!! late for 45 minutes. When I call to verify, the reception was yelling at me when I call for the second time. He kept telling me the shuttle will be there 5 minutes. more

I used A1 Shuttle Service at SFO. They were very prompt & on time going & coming back to SFo\r \r The only problem I had was understanding them. The drivers were great. The van was very clean and was offered something to drink. \r \r They do not use credit cards. You have to pay cash when you arrive at your destnation. more

Great Company.First time ever using A1 and I was very satisfied by this company. Overall a very reliable service and very punctual. Always on time even if you need to go to the Airport a 3:30A.M. Experienced drivers and friendly service. I would recommend A1 to all. more

They almost killed me. Do not take this shuttle under any conditions. The driver went the wrong way down a one way road twice and almost killed me in a head on collision with another car after trying to drop me off at the wrong location. I had to yell at him for ten minutes to let me out of the van before he would do so. Then the company called and yelled at me twice (once after 10 PM) to say it was my fault for not providing him with directions (in a city I have never visited) - even though I tried to give him my destination address three or four times. The car was shoddy, he missed his turns numerous times. Only take if you are willing to put your life on the line. Additionally, the company is so underhanded that they are now searching for my negative reviews and lying in a sad attempt to discredit me. I doubt the ""great"" company reviews as A1 probably wrote those, too. They accuse me of refusing to supply my driver with my address, which totally makes sense (I showed it to him on my iPhone several times, and he typed in a completely different address. He didn't speak English). Also apparently large vehicles prevent you from ever getting into an accident. Unless you want to deal with a major headache and possible injury, do not ever take their business. Since my experience, three other people have reported them to the Better Business Bureau for ""Service Issues,"" and they now have a B- rating. more

A1 American Shuttle is he best company I have used thus far and they are always on time and definitely very reliable! I will use them for the future especially since there drivers are very friendly and help out with the luggage. I have used them for all of my trip and my trips are always relaxing knowing that my shuttle will be here on time and ready to take me to the Airport. more

Great Service! I have used this company for a recent trip, and they were very reliable! I reserved a round trip with them for going to the Airport when I was traveling to the Philippine's.Not only did I need a big van to fit my luggage since I was traveling International, I also wanted someone reliable who I knew would be at the Airport when I arrive back at the San Francisco Airport. I made my return reservation at least one month before and I was relieved to know that A1 American Shuttle was at the Airport waiting for my family and I. Great drivers and definitely the best service that will provide a safe ride. I will use them again, when ever I choose to travel. Not to mentions the prices are very reasonable! This is a great experience, I have had some awful experiences with other shuttle companies. This Shuttle service is just simply great! Everyone I talked with over the phone and also including the driver who gave us the ride, were fantastic.Not to mention, the vans were super clean. Overall it was a smooth ride. I had a reservation two days ago and the service was fantastic..Also the driver was very friendly..The driver even offered me a drink from his cooler..I had a lot of bags and he picked them all up for me..They were also on time and the ride went very smooth.Also the van was very comfortable...It was a non-stop ride..They dropped me right at the airport door..They even took out all the luggage for me..I recommend you use this service.. I had a reservation a few days ago and not only were they on time, the service was excellent..The drivers were on time and they were very friendly..Also i had quite lot of bags and they even helped me with my luggage.The ride was very smooth and the vans were very comfortable..Also there were not any stops it was a non-stop ride..They dropped me off right at the door of the airport..I highly recommend using this service again.. This Monday week we were moving out of this state, and i had lot of luggage i was really stressing about it. I had four heavy suitcases. The driver helped me move all of the bags out of the car onto a trolley, so it would be easy for me to get going. I really appreciated the hospitality more

This is the friendliest service that you cant find from other shuttle. I have used other shuttle before but i would prefer this over those other shuttle. They have a wonderful staff friendly service. I had a appointment at 3:00 am in the morning and they were there 20 minutes early and when i got outside the driver helped me with the luggage and offered me a drink! Overall Great service, comfortable, and gets you to your destination on time, and not to mention the best price. What more could you ask for? more

i have used other shuttle services but not quite like this one. This was by far the most comfortable, honest, and friendly service that i have used in the past. I had a reservation at 5:15 am from Livermore to the San Fransico Airport.I was worried about my luggage because I had a lot of bags but the driver was kind enough to help me with all my bags..Also they were on time and they had no trouble finding our home.. Excellent Service: I had used their service to go to the SFO Airport and I needed the ride early in the morning at 3:30 A.M. I was very assured over the phone that the driver will be there on time and that he wouldn't have any trouble finding my house because they provide all of there drivers with GPS. I felt very comfortable with the service, and I was just about to get ready in the morning and I receive a call from the driver and he told me that he was on his way. This was a relief, and the driver was here even before I was ready to go. They were on time and the drivers are very friendly.I told him that I will be there within 2 mins. Also, the driver helped me with all of my luggage and the Van was very nice and clean. It looked new and was very comfortable. As I write this I am waiting for a friend to take me to the airport because this ""service"" is 30 minutes late without a phone call. When I called them I was told the driver is having some problems and someone will be sent in 20 minutes. 30 minutes and 20 minutes is nearly 1 hour late, when flying that is unacceptable. I highly recommend choosing another shuttle service, missing a flight is not worth saving a few dollars. I wish I could put negative stars. Cons: never arrived more

Very disorganized, I made a reservation for one way to San Jose airport, everything was going fine, the lady who drove the shuttle proceded to ask me to fill out my return flight information, I told her that I will not be needing their services as I have a ride on my return, she asked me to fill out the info anyways just in case I changed my mind they will have it already. well I decided to extend my vacation. they blew up my phone the day I was suppose to return with calls wondering where I was and that the driver is waiting to pick me up, I told them I did not make a return reservation, they insisted I did by filling out the paper with my information. I informed that I had not and that the women who drove me insisted I fill it out in case I needed a shuttle. They preceded to tell me that the driver waited three hours for me which I do not believe and wanted to charge me, I told them they should have confirmed the reservation and that I refuse to pay for their mix up. Don't bother with this company. They don't provide their drivers with accurate information and when I attempted to track them down after they were 20min late, they hung up on me without providing details on when the driver would arrive!! I would have rated with no stars but had to rate with one. When my ride had not shown up 10min after the scheduled 5am pick up, I called and had to reassure the same driver who had taken my reservation the day before that I did indeed have a reservation. She called the other driver to confirm and called back saying he had called me multiple times and would be there in ""a few minutes"". I had not received any calls. Still no call, no driver after 5 more min. It's now 5:20. I call her back and get her voice mail. I hang up and call again, which this time she answers, obviously annoyed. I asked where the driver was and to see if she had given him my number accurately. She said, ""He'll be there in a few minutes"" and hung up!! I started to get my husband out of bed in preparation to wake our son when the driver finally showed up at 5:25am, 25min late. It turns out even though they take 2 phone numbers, they only gave him one of them and they messed up the number. I feel sorry for the poor person they did call!! He had done what he could, but I refused to feel sorry for him. I watched out the window and though he claims he was in front of my house for 30min, I never saw a car stop and only saw one go by. Poor execution all around and even worse customer service. I will NEVER use this company again. I laughed at the end because after explaining why I was so upset, he looked mad that I didn't tip.
