A Real Fun Party Bus

Do not use this bus company at all! The bus was not as advertised and was unsafe. The map lights and DVD player did not work, a window was broken, and the ventilation system worked poorly. The driver was unexperienced in driving in snow. As a result the bus was in 2 accidents on the way home from a Telluride Trip, the 2nd of which was totally avoidable and the fault of the driver for stopping the bus in the middle of the road in a snowstorm and leaving the bus. I hired this company for a bachelorette party and I received HORRIBLE service from start to finish. To begin with, the owner did not deliver the bus that I had booked. I called and confirmed (more than once) the week prior and he had all the information correct at that time only to say he did not know what I wanted the day of. The evening ended with him swearing at us and calling some of us names. I've read past negative reviews only to see him use the ""excuse"" of his clients being intoxicated. Well, I feel that is a weak excuse considering he caters to bachelor/bachelorette parties? I paid him in full - upfront (with a 20% tip included) only to be treated so unprofessionally. He was rude and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I only write this review to hopefully help someone else when making the decision as to what company to use when looking to rent a party bus. There are lots of limo bus's and party bus's in the area but this is truly the best value of them all. We all had a great time. You can't go wrong with this one. Pros: Affordable and fun more

It is very sad that some people, when they drink, are unable or unwilling to take responsibility for their actions after giving their promise. You know, you try to trust people and take them for their word. That they will conduct themselves as responsible adults. But as adolescent adults often times do, honesty and integrity are just hollow words. If I am a bad person for expecting more and holding them accountable for what they DESTROYED without regard for other peoples property, then I proudly wear that badge. DO NOT patron ""Charter of the Rockies"" OR ""A Real Fun Party Bus."" Jake, the owner and driver, is a supreme CREEP and SCAM artist. He did not deliver the buses that he promised, tried to extort money from the organizers after the event, and then SHOVED a bus guest down the stairs. He is impossible to communicate with and will create a reason for ""extra charges."" Believe nothing that he says and avoid doing business with either of his companies. more

SCAM! Do NOT pay them in cash! Jake, the owner and driver was rude and inconsiderate. They pulled a 'bait and switch' the day of the event and will ""find"" damages to the bus and demand you pay him in cash. His attempt to pull this scam on us resulted in him pushing a passenger member and calling one of the girls who organized the event some colorful names. Stay far, far away from these folks.
