I've never had so many compliments on hair cuts. I've had some bad hair cuts....some bad luck finding someone who could please me over the past many years. I put off getting my hair cut, waiting almost a year between many of my "trims"....until I found Alina. Now I'm in on a very regular basis and get so many compliments every time! She says hair extensions are her thing....but I think anything having to do with hair is her thing! Highly recommend! Pros: Alina Cons: N/A more

I'm so happy to have my extensions done by Alina. She is the best! I cannot count the looks and compliments I get all the time. I look like a movie star! Yet the hair looks so natural. I moved to Glendale and saw the salon while taking a walk---it looked like the kind of place I would run so I checked it out online and took a chance---well worth it---Alina is honest about hair style and color and she is efficient---you will leave the salon looking awesome and feeling good---prices are competitive too so go already! :) Pros: location, service Cons: none more

Alina is fantastic. I have a TON of hair and when she bl0ws it out (which takes a LONG time) it's always perfect and straight. She's also great with color. I recently got married and am so happy with the pictures. My hair color looks great...natural yet interesting. Anything but flat. She's also fun to talk to and makes the salon time fly by. You won't be disappointed. Pros: convient, friendly, talented Cons: none more

I have spent years looking in Los Angeles for a good stylist, going from very trendy, to the expensive, to very hip places. Eight stylists in total since I moved here only a few years ago. All of them started out well with one decent cut, but then afterwards they became lazy and totally lacking in professionalism. My theory is that they try to gain you as a customer the first time around, and then after that they just try to do the bare minimum. All were over priced for what I got. I was starting to get a complex that it was me who was being too picky. However, in my never ending quest for stylist, I found the reviews here in citysearch a couple of years ago, and have been going to Elena every since because of her incredible skills. She can cut, color and style my hair in no time, and it always looks amazing and beautiful. She has totally changed the way I feel about my hair (now I love it). She also knows exactly the kind of products you should use, and is honest about what cut would work on my hair type. I have complete confidence in her. She says her best skill is color, but she truly can do superb cuts, not just on easy hair, but on difficult hair types. And, if that weren't all, she is a very down-to-earth person, her salon feels comfortable and completely lacking in pretention or haughtiness, one of the hallmarks of a LOT of Los Angeles stylists, while at the same time the salon is charming and well designed. She could teach the entire industry many things about how high to aim when it comes to hair and customer service. You will not be disappointed. In 15 years I have not been able to find someone as knowledgeable as Alina. She immediately knew how to fix my brassy color and transform it into exactly the look I wanted and needed. She did not overpromise....she actually outperformed all expectations! She is also very fair price-wise! The salon is cozy and clean and fresh! I felt at home the entire time I was there....a must try that will not disappoint! Pros: Alina and her knowledge and friendliness Cons: NONE more

I moved to NYC and I still come back to her every six months to get them re-done. She is excellent at what she does , nobody even notices that my hair has extensions which is exactly what I wanted. I have a beautiful website and my own clients always compliment me on it. I currently model and having my hair lookin the best is at my best interest . I will recommend Alina to anyone interested in having some great extension on their hair. Even though I have gone to consultations in NY to be able to find someone, I don't think anyone could measure up to the quality of work Alina does. She is a perfectionist herself therefore she understands my needs. I also, still get my color done by her since I don't trust anyone with my color to match my extensions. She will accomadate me even on her days off if thats the only time I could be in town. She is really good at working with you around your schedule. Pros: Skill, Knowledge, Service Cons: None more

I drive all the way from Santa Monica to Glendale to get my Hair Extensions done. I have had them done 3 times in LA and this is the best place ever! I've been going to Alina for my haircare for an eternity, 7 years or more, and there's a reason. I can trust her hands to yield the best haircut among all hairdressers in town. I deal heavily with makeup and hair people in showbiz, so I am not an easy judge. The hair studio is perfectly located off the 101/134 freeway, takes me about 10 min from sherman oaks to get there. The interior is pretty art deco/modern, and her assistants and staff will cater to your needs as soon as you step into the salon. Parking is of great ease and free. Alina is very cordial, warm and friendly, and is a real people's person. more
