After consulting with Dorothy Bunce about my financial problems, I couldn't tell which choice she wanted me to make. The other bankruptcy attorneys I met with all said they recommended bankruptcy, but Dorothy described how debt settlement worked and even explained what could happen if I did nothing. So I asked for her recommendation & she said it was entirely my decision, but pointed out what things might influence me to decide one way or another. I am not used to having a lawyer treat me with this level of respect and showing me that she knew I was smart enough to make my own decision..\r more

I called Dorothy Bunce after seeing an article she published about debt collector telephone calls. I didn't realize that she worked in Las Vegas and wasn't able to give me any advice about Michigan law. Even though she couldn't take my case, she returned my call right away & gave me the name of an attorney in my community to contact for advice.\r more

I had an early morning appointment with bankruptcy lawer Dorothy bunce and I showed up over 30 minutes early. Traffic must have been light or I have been given really good directions to find the office! I pulled into the office parking lot and it was empty & the office was still closed. But a couple of minutes later, a car pulls in, a woman gets out wearing her sweats obviously just having left the gym. To my surprise, I recognized her as being the attorney I was meeting and she was willing to see me immediately instead of making me wait for my appointment time. And considering she had been working out, she didn't smell bad at all! LOL!\r more

I went to see a big name bankruptcy attorney after my Wife wasn't able to remember the last name of her attorney Dorothy. After being really disappointed with the big guy, I had my wife do a little digging and she found the name & phone number for Dorothy Bunce at A Fresh Start. What a difference it makes to see the right person. Dorothy explained how I could easily settle my debts myself for pennies on the dollar, which debts to pay first and which ones to ignore, and even printed out two articles she had written that helped me out. And she didn't charge us a penny for this advice. There really are some nice lawyers in the world and Dorothy Bunce is one in a million.\r more

My son needed to file bankruptcy & I went with him to his consultation with Dorothey Bunce from A Fresh Start Law. Mrs Bunce was straightforward and direct in explaining how bankruptcy worked and by the time we left, I felt like I was able to explain bankruptcy to someone else.\r more

I came into A Fresh Start Law for a bankruptcy consultation feeling like I was a worthless sorry excuse of a man. After meeting attorney Dorothy Bunce I was laughing at my own problems after imagining the debtor collector's rage at finding out I had filed bankruptcy and that they would have to stop harassing me. For the first time in so long I can't remember, I had a good nights sleep where I didn't wake up worrying about my bills.\r more

Why was I afraid to meet the bankruptcy lawyer? I have no idea why I was so nervious and afraid to meet a bankruptcy lawyer. I couldn't even bring myself to make the appointment, so my bf did it for me. The attorney at a fresh start, Dorothy Bunce, listened to me and talked to me as if she were my big sister. By the time my bf & I left the initial meeting with Dorothy, we were sharing hair care & weight loss tips. And I feel I can share anything with my new attorney and she will understand and be able to give me advice on what to do & make me feel better.\r more

I filed bankruptcy in 2004 and don't remember one thing going wrong with my case. But I am applying to refinance my mortgage and the bank needs a copy of my court records. So I called my old attorney at A Fresh Start and within seconds, actually by the time the conversation ended, I had received an email with all the records I needed. Thanks Dorothy!\r more

When you bank with a Credit Union, don't take out multiple loans with them. Why? Because credit unions are allowed to ""cross collaterize"" debts and if you have more than one loan with the Credit Union, your car title could be in limbo until you pay off the other loans you have with them. OUCH! That's not very friendly...but that is how your credit union will treat you. more

I met Dorothy Bunce at A Fresh Start Law hoping to heat that she could guarantee me a loan modification so I could keep my house. Since the attorneys on tv promise results and this attorney doesn't, I left and am going to see the attorney that will promise to get me the results I want. \r more
