And I don't tan THAT frequently. I mean, I go enough to get my moneys worth out of my membership, but I am not there every day, nor multiple times a week. But I guess once you find a great place, you notice the shortcomings of others. I came here because my usual tanning salon was packed. This place is just across the street, so I ran in. First off, the two girls working there let me stand there for 5 minutes without acknowledging that I was even there. They didn't look up at me, didn't say a word to me. I wondered if I was invisible maybe? When they finally decided it was time to work, instead of chat, the girl who helped me was nice, I suppose. Anyway, the room that they put me in was abnormally small...barely enough room to turn around. The beds hinges were broken...though the employee assured me it was okay....the door wouldnt stay open, so when I tried to get out of the bed, the door was hitting me in the head. The floors there are gross. Bare concrete with paint intentionally splattered everywhere, like bad 80's art. Its obvious they do this to mask the fact that they don't clean the floors that often. Dust bunnies piled against the walls and behind the bed proved that. There was a dirty towel lodged between the tanning bed and the wall, mixed in with the dust bunnies and the multiple cords for the bed. Not safe looking. The bed took well over 10 minutes to fully heat up and the session itself was only 20 minutes, so I feel like I only got a 10 minute tan. The one nice thing I can say about the place...its decorated cute. Besides the floor. Do yourself a favor and run right across the street next time you want to tan. Much better experience.
