Pricey alternawear 5/28/2006

8th Street Lab is mostly for raver and graver gear, which is not my scene. Most people I know who go there visit for inspiration (or sales) and then try to shop other places that are more affordable. They definitely generate a large portion of their revenue from tourists who don't have access to other alternative clothing stores and are hapy to pay their prices. more

Punk rock at a price 4/1/2006

8th Street Lab has got some interesting apparel and accessories for those into alternative styles, like punk, raver, or goth. However, the price tags on the items will make you stop in your tracks. It's fun to look around this store, but generally not worth coming out with a hole in your pocket after a purchase. Also, the staff is not very friendly or helpful. more
