Optical 88 has been the only place me and my family go to get our eyeglasses and frames. The people there are always friendly and helpful when picking out frames. They are patient and help you decide what looks best on you. If you buy your eyeglasses from them you get a free eye exam. They are really quick and you can have your glasses ready for pick sometimes within the hour. Sometimes it might take a few days if what you want is not in stock, but its not a really long wait. If you ever have problems with your eyeglasses you can always go to them have then fixed it for free with no hassle. more

88 OPTICAL HESTER INC is one the nice place to get sunglasses and to prescribe you lens place. It is a corner store right by Mott Street, easy to see with a great big sign and cant miss. Need a Christian Dior or a Gucci glasses? Great place to get them with an excellent price. With Mirrors all around and so many glasses to choose from you can’t go wrong. Best of all if you don’t like the size or something is wrong the people there would greatly help you fix your problem. more

Fast and Friendly Eye Glasses Store 8/12/2005

Optical 88 has wide selection of glasses ranging from designer brands or just regular brand glasses. The staff are pretty helpful and attentive. Many can speak English so for those who can't communicate in chinese this is a good place to go to. You can also bargain as well in here. I usually can knock off maybe 50 bucks from the asking price. Plus it only takes about 1 hour to receive your new pair of glasses. How awesome is that. It's one of the few optical stores in New York City that I can trust and go to. I've been wearing glasses since 3rd grade so check it out. The staff really tries to please and help find the type of glasses that suits you. more

Friendly Service 8/12/2005

Optical 88 is the only place I go to get my frames and eyeglasses. The people there are very friendly and extremely helpful when picking out frames. They are also very patient with you while you make your choice. They never try to push anything on you. You can also get your eyes examed there for free when you are buying glasses from them. Any if you have any problems with them you can also bring them back to get it fixed no problem. more
