I worked at 40 et 8 about 7 years ago and I need to say that pinkicram is kinda crazy she was a charity case that the management helped her with a job since nobody else would. I think that the whole locking the gate without waiting for the tow truck thing is crazy because when I worked there there was a tow truck company right down the road that would be there in 5-10 minutes everytime( and we always waited). If this person was asking them to stay 40 minutes because they wanted to get it at a cheaper cost then what kind of person is that? more

Everyone at this bingo hall does 150% they are nice and happy! It is always clean and the food is great.I have been going there for 6+ years and love it!:) more

I WORKED AT 40 ET 8 FOR 12 YRS COUNTING PULL TABS. THE LAST 5 YEARS WERE UNBEARABLE AND I HAD TO QUIT! MY MOTHER AND STEP FATHER PAT AND DAVE SLOREY HAD COMPLETE CONTROL OF MY TRUST FUND WHICH WAS IRREVOCABLE AND IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO GET IT OUT OF THIER HANDS! I WAS SEVERELY ABUSED AND GENE AND CONNIE SORRENSON, TINA CRAWFORD, HER DAUGHTER TAMERA, CHRIS SMITH AND JULIE DECIDED TO GO RIGHT ALONG WITH MY ABUSIVE FAMILY THAT WAS JUST TRYING TO GET MY MONEY! THEY WERE 100'S OF TIMES WORSE THAN MY FAMILY EVER WAS TO ME! RON AND MARLIS JOHNSON LIED TO THEM AS A MATTER OF FACT THEY HELPED MY GRANDMOTHER ABUSE THIER SISTER ALSO! THEY ARE ALL REALLY INTO ABUSE! MAYBE THEY THOUGHT THEY COULD GET MY MONEY! I'AM TAKING CARE OF IT LEGALLY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! more

My mother is a United States disabled, Vietnam era veteran and she enjoys going to bingo and supporting the 40et8 charities. On many occasions the management (Tina) has been exceptionally rude to her. Most recently, on Father's Day, this manager (mentioned previously), called my mother a whiner for asking a simple question. When my mother replied that she was not a whiner, the manager persisted in insulting her two more times. Only one week prior, there was an incident at the bingo hall in which a young woman was being stalked. The police were called and we were asked to stay as witnesses after the bingo games were done. This same manager screamed at the police when asked to see the video surveillance. The officer told her to calm down and she stomped her foot, told him, ""Well come on then... Some of us work and want to go home!"" It was so rude the police officer told her to chill out, but she persisted. Her attitude makes going to this hall a trial and her treatment of my mother and others is infuriating. If something is not done soon, we will not return. Beware of poor management!!! more

We are regular bingo players was in town on bus so thought we woukd try this bingo hall. Well a floor worker was selling dbl act I only had a $50bill she made a sigh n walked away w/out saying a word she came bak set my change dwn n walkd away, again w/out saying a word. I stopped her asked if there ws a problem she stated ""I have a headache"" and walked away. No apology or anything. I wrote a comment and shortly after the manager asked me who it was. I pointed young worker out she said policy floor workers aren't suppose accept large bills. But I told her worker could said so, but didn't. Nevertheless....bad customer service more

My friend and I went to this parlor tonight. We locked our keys in our car when we got there for the last session. We didn't realize it until we went to leave. I called the locksmith and was told it would be 40 minutes until they could be there to unlock the car. An employee from the parlor told us that they lock the gate to the parkinglot in 15 minutes. So we told them inside, where everyone was standing waiting to leave, that we wouldn't receive help for 40 minutes. Everyone seemed really irritated and one employee even commented, ""Hell no! I'm not waiting. I've been here since 9."" We looked around for someone with a kind heart to speak up and say that they wouldn't mind waiting with us before locking their gate, and no one would said a word. They then told us that we would have to leave our car in the parkinglot and return the next day to get a locksmith. Irritated, we started our walk on the main road, 78th St in the freezing cold. We were dissapointed at the fact that there's no one with a heart there to help another in a little favor, as we would have done for anyone ourselves.
