I went to 24 Hour tailoring because it was the audience favorite on Citysearch, it was near my work and I was short on time.\r
\r
I left 2 pairs of pants with them - the same size, same manufacturer and same style. The only difference was the color of the fabric.\r
\r
Both needed to be taken in at the waist and hemmed at the inseam.\r
\r
The cost for each service was $15 - for each waistband and each pair of inseams, so the total was $60.\r
\r
When the work was completed, the pants were the perfect length. However, the waist of one pair of pants is almost too tight for me to wear and the waist of the other is so loose that without a belt they would slide right off.\r
\r
For the cost of the alterations, I would have expected them to fit perfectly.\r
\r
I found the service rather abrupt. In fact, I left the pants on a Tuesday and picked them up on Thursday as scheduled. The tailor actually moved shops with the Fashion Square Mall on Wednesday and did not even extend the basic courtesy of letting me know that they were moving. You can imagine how I felt to arrive at their old shop to see everything gone. Fortunately, a local storekeeper told me where they had relocated.\r
\r
I would not recommend 24 Hour tailoring. I did not even trust them to make the corrections to their original shoddy work.
Pros: Location on the strip
Cons: Cost, Poor Quality of Service
