DO NOT GO HERE 9/14/2011

I was excited about this place since I consider myself a foodie and thought it was about time Washington heights brought in some nice restaurants.\r Aside from not being impressed with the food or staff, I ordered something off the lunch menu and they switched the price on me after I asked for the check. When I inquired about it, the waitress said it takes longer to make a turkey burger and the lunch menu price was wrong. Aside from the fact that what she said does not make any sense, the restaurant should either change the price on the menu or adhere to the price reflected. It is really NOT cool to change the price after I ordered, ate the food and requested the check.\r Go to the Sushi place across the street or the Thai place up the block. I would even prefer the diner two blocks away! more

A Neighborhood Favorite 3/30/2010

This is a great neighborhood gathering spot. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing during the day and lively and social during the evening hours. Food and staff are both outstanding! You can have coffee and breakfast fare in the morning, delicious sandwiches and salads for lunch and the dinner menu it delicious. I suggest the grass-fed burger, Caesar salad and, of course, the sprouts! Pros: Staff and fried brussells sprouts! more

This place is a neighborhood gem. The wait staff and bartenders are delightful. Try the hangar steak or the chicken caesar salad. The brussel sprouts as a side dish are amazing. If you stop by in the morning, they also have superb coffee and cookies! Pros: Monday Night Jazz more
