10 Degrees South

My husband (who was my boyfriend at the time) took me to 10 degrees south the first weekend I visited him in Atlanta. We celebrated our first anniversary there, and will celebrate our 4th anniversary there this month. We wouldn' t go anywhere else...the food is divine...the service, impeccable...the owner, has a way of making you feel like YOU are his most important customer, and the ambience has it all. Eat in the first room for a spacious, airy, contemporary feeling room, and in the next room for a cozier, darker,more intimate experience. I can' t say enough good things about this place. We eat out a lot, and this, by far, is my favorite spot. more

Romantic, excellent food, hands-on ownership. This is a perfect place for a first date. It also has an excellent bar area for just getting drinks or sitting outside. Pros: Variety of Food, Atmosphere, Good Value more

Went to 10 Degrees the other night - hadn't been there since the renovations - it is fantastic - still very warm feeling even though it is bigger - the decor is great. The food is even better than I remembered, they have changed the menu - lots more appetizers. For appetizers we had the peri-peri calamari which was fantastic - we tried the grape leaves,crab pastries and sosaties as well and everything was great! For our main meal we had the rump steak, chicken curry, snapper with spicy crab sauce and the rack of lamb - EVERYTHING was SO tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant for their food and wines. The waiter who served us was very pleasant and helpful. We had no room for desserts but will definitely try them when we visit them again. more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I visited the first time this weekend and it was the best meal I have had here in atlanta (I have been here for three years now)....Much better then bachanalia and the like....Unique food that isnt the same old same old...Nice (although maybe too nice) waiters....beautiful decor.....Wonderful owner willing to come over and show you the whole restaurant.....I had the ostrick medallions which were incredible as was my girlfriends KingKlip fish....really you cannot go wrong...Dont forget the calamari and save room for the choc. dessert it was beyond belief!
