Review content:
I went to the Optometry Group for years until I started doing some research online. I found out that I was being prescribed a specific type of contact that can only be purchased through them. (In other words, I couldn't comparison shop.)
I asked to be prescribed a different brand and they flat out refused.
They were already being paid hundreds of dollars for my exam and glasses but they didn't want to give me the option of buying contacts at another location.
It should be MY choice where I buy contacts. So, now it is. I no longer go to them and don't recommend them.
(My new optometrist has no problem prescribing contacts that can be purchased elsewhere).
