Businiess name:  Coldwater Cafe
Review by:  Lori Z.
Review content:
This quaint restaurant in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. As a waitress explained, owner Betty wants things to look great, and Nick, her son and the head chef, wants things to taste great—and both succeed. Coldwater Café only seats about 40 people in the main dining room, although a new, smaller dining room has been recently opened on the second floor. There may be a wait—especially for dinner on a Friday or Saturday—but it is well worth the wait, and you can tour the shops of Tipp City while you wait for your pager to let you know your table is ready. The chili is a personal favorite, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. You will be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu along side your more normal fare, with things such as ostrich being offered. If you only eat in one restaurant in Miami County, chose Coldwater Café! (They’re also available for catering.)
