Pizzeria Uno is located on the old portion of Highway 151 in Platteville, amongst a short "restaurant row". It has been here for quite some time and seems to be quite the hot spot with the local college crowd. They have a bar, smoking, non-smoking are banquet area. There is also the Pizzeria Uno Annex, a separate building on the same site, which I am not sure what it is used for; overflow maybe? We have eaten here about three to four times. The first time we went, we were quite satisfied with the pizza we ordered, a simple Pepperoni. However the next time we went (and ordered the same thing) the pizza somehow changed! It was not as good, didn't even look nor taste the same. Maybe a new cook? Giving them the benefit of the doubt we have tried them a couple more times hoping we could enjoy the pizza we had the first time, but not so. So maybe the really good pizza cook was there the first time, and has now moved on and been replaced by so-so pizza makers. So consistency with their food, they were not. Maybe it's a hit or miss kind of deal. Unfortunately for us, mostly miss.
