The Michigan Theater is a fun place to go and see a movie. In this classic theater where live theatrical performances are still held, movies are shown on a big screen that covers the length of the stage. While the theater does not have stadium seating like newer theaters, you can hear live music before the show while an organist plays music and you have your choice of seats as there is an upper balcony perfect for viewing the movie. With an old fashion ticket booth up front, this theater is a piece of history but still shows the newest movies and many of the artsy films you can't find at area chains. It's a great place to catch a flick without having to leave the heart of campus.
