The Democracy Resource Center is an action research organization whose work supports grassroots organizing and promotes a social justice worldview in Kentukcy. The Democracy Resource Center seeks to overcome racism and other oppressions and win social, economic, and environmental justice. The Democracy Resource Center provides research assistance to grassroots organizations, conducts political education through workshops, trainings, and materials; carries out policy analysis and develops new, proactive policy alternatives; builds strong alliances with other organizations; and through issue campaigns, advocates alongside grassroots groups for change. Contact DRC to sign up for their grassroots newsmagazine - the Kentucky Source - that educates for action around important issues affecting people in the state, provides tools for organizing, and promotes a Kentucky-based progressive political analysis.
