Review content:
I contacted the Chicago office about a month ago regarding an executive level accounting position. I was referred to them by a former colleague who had good things to say about his experience. I should add that his recruiter is no longer there. The office was very sparse with worn out furniture and bare walls. Prior to my interview I was asked to completed a very lengthy online application. The woman I interviewed with was seasoned and polite. She followed along the application and asked a few questions. I got the impression that accounting was not her area of expertise, though Midtown advertises that they are experienced in my field. Perhaps they are successful in certain arenas but I left with the impression that they would be able to assist me. I should say that my experience as a whole was a disappointment. A week later I accepted a position I found through my own contacts.
