I asked a dentist who works in the area about what his opinion was of the whole mess and if I should really start looking for a new dentist because Dr. A has always had such a good report with my children and I had only good experiences there. He told me that Dr. A has a wonderful staff, a state of the art office and all of that costs money; money that had to come from somewhere. He said he really likes Dr. A personally but feels what he had done was unethical and simply wrong. He also said that no dentist would preform the types of procedures described in the complaint without x-rays or other proof that there was a problem. It is sad that someone I trusted could be so reckless and greedy especially with children and so many children. If you are reading this, please go back and read the complaint filed by the dental board before deciding to go back to him.
