My son had just turned 3, and was unhappy in this environment. He was here only for just 4 months and that was enough. The teachers were unfriendly, and there was hardly a smile f from Miss Yvonne, the very young teacher or the barely -English speaking teachers aide. Parents were not made to feel welcomed in the classroom except when the school said it was okay and I wasn't even allowed on the playground with my son. True the school does have lots of activities on and off the school property. It is off the school property one should be concerned about before allowing your child to go on field trips. My husband went with my child on a field trip there were no seat belts on the bus. when a child only weights 40 lbs to begin with, this is a concern. , In addition, not once did the teacher ever acknowledge my husband, to introduce herself since he had only met her once before. There are no fridges for the lunches to be kept cold or a microwave to warm meals. Their idea of a hot lunch was PIZZA every FRIDAY. My son now attends pre-school in Irvine. IT is definitely worth the increase in $$$ to have a happy secure child to pick up at the end of the day. I can spend the day with him, surprise visits and be greeted with friendly staff that can communicate effectively.
