Businiess name:  Get Well Medical Care-Long Is
Review by:  Belle B.
Review content:
I don't know what John C. is talking about, but this doctor is only interested in money. He poked my stomach a few times, I said it hurt, and his response was, "You should go to the ER." He wouldn't even TRY to figure out what it was. When I asked him, he said, "That's my recommendation. You can choose not to go, but it might get worse, or you might not even be here"--like I might DIE--and then he RAN out of the room like he was afraid of me! Also, I had to ask for a receipt for my care, and it looks like an old-fashioned "petty cash" receipt, not an official doctor's receipt. AND, if you have more than one issue--say, a stomach ache and a bad knee--he wants you to have two separate appointments for them. He will not call in prescription refills, either. You have to schedule an appointment for that, too, as well as to get results of any bloodwork, because he won't give them to you over the phone or in a letter. He also charges for doctor's notes. COME ON ALREADY! Stay away from this one. A nice receptionist does not medical care make!
