Review content:
I was involved in an airplane crash on 12-30-06 at approx 0500 near Pontiac Airport. My plane landed in Pontiac Lake. As I exited the plane, I was being approached by a group of duck hunters who identified themselves as Springfield Township firefighters. They were my guardian angels during this incident; removing me from the downed aircraft, placing me in their boat, and giving me their headgear and coat to keep me warm as they waded ashore pulling me in their boat. They were very professional, constantly monitoring me for shock and other injuries. I can not thank them enough for their attention to my plight. I'm 62 years old and have never needed a fireman's help. Thank God that on the day I needed one, one was nearby.
