Businiess name:  Salisbury Zoo

Review content:
As we drove up the Atlantic coast on our way to see fall foliage, our van began having mechanical problems. We took it to the nearest Ford dealership, which was in Salisbury, Maryland. Since it was going to take all day for the van to get fixed, we went to the zoo while the work was being done. The Salisbury Zoological Park is a wonderful little zoo featuring animals from North, Central and South America. As far as zoos go, it doesn't have anything really exotic. There are a lot of birds, a few big cats, some monkeys and several other species. The grounds were pretty and well cared for. A lot of the park is along the shore of a lake, which makes it a peaceful setting. One of the best things about the park is that it's free. The zoo is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas. I remember there were a lot of mothers with infants and preschool children who seemed to be enjoying the day. Although we were in Salisbury for an unpleasant reason (our van needed to be repaired), the Salisbury Zoo was a pleasant diversion.
