Review content:
I saw there had been some recent posts about being nostalgic and visiting car-hop restaurants and drive-in theaters. So to continue a little of that trend. . .my review of a local drive-in theater.
The family and I went to see Cars tonight at a drive-in called Field of Scenes (quite the catchy name) http://www.fieldofscenes.biz/ which was a surprise to my 5yr old, "What do you mean I have to sit outside to see the movie?" It was loads of fun for most, my 1yr old got antsy half-way through because he was tired, but couldn't sleep with so much going on around him.
We arrive at the "theater" at 7:15, there was a playground, volleyball & basketball courts, and horse-drawn wagon rides to keep us occupied until dusk, when the movie was to start.
It was great family fun and we're looking forward to doing it again - this time with a sitter for the younger son!!
