I was delighted to find out that there was a vegan bakery in Columbus. A co-worker had told me about Patty Cakes about one week before my father came out to my home with chocolate chip cookies for my daughter. This was a HUGE deal for us since she has food allergies... she had never had a chocolate chip cookie. I think that I was more excited for her to try it than she was. I tasted the cookie with her and could not believe how good it was. Unless someone told you, you would have no idea that it was vegan. The cookie was really big too. It is definitely big enough to share, or break in half and save some for later.
My father also brought us a menu and I was so happy to see that they had a large selection of baked goods to choose from. I will keep them in mind for the next time that I don't have time to bake something safe for my child to eat.
