Review content:
My wife and I were in Moncks Corner, we were at another restaurant on a sunday and asked where we could go to get a cocktail in the afternoon. The restaurant directed us to Tobies. what a delightful place. Not only were we greeted by the owner, but we were seated and served by her. Wonderful and delightful personality, as is her staff there. a complimentary sampler was sent to our table. we ate something like a corn fritter that she called a "dozen eggs" a couple of frog legs that were the biggest I have ever seen. the ambience was fabulous, looks like Jimmy Buffett, southern hospitality, moss, and wildlife abounds in there. My wife and I felt very comfortable and at home. others there were walking around chatting knowing everyone there, they made us feel at home. Someone stated that it was just thier second living room and welcomed us. its better than 'Cheers". The cooks came out and asked if our apetizers were satisfactory and the waitresses acted as if they enjoyed serving us. We were glad we stopped there. It was certainly worth the drive from Mt. Pleasant. While there the owner Tobie even whipped up a dessert and brought it to our table.. she went above and beyond what any other restaurant owner would do. She di perhaps, make us to feel as if we also, just acquired a new-other living room. Enjoyed the hospitlity!
Pros: Atmosphere and service was superb
Cons: Cant think of one, except they need more room to expand.
