Review content:
A bunch of us went to the Long Branch on a Saturday night to see the blues band Chuck Hall play. He was the only good thing going on all night. The kitchen was closed so I can't common on the food, however, I can comment on the service or lack of. All the customers had to bus their own tables, there was no waitresses to take your drink orders. You had to belly-up to a packed bar and push your arm through customers sitting at the bar and wait until you caught the bar tenders eye. I will say the beer prices were reasonable...but what does that tell you about the management? A well-known local band is playing, it's Saturday night, no munchies and they have a severe shortage of help. Long Branch has all the ingredients of being a great hangout if they only get their act together. Pros: Ambience Cons: No service
